Spain is a country with a rich military history and a large population. The civil war wasnt that long ago, barely pre WW2, fascism was rampant in Spain only half a century ago and Franco was in power till the mid 70's... it is a country that didn't get democracy all that long ago.

As a European an unstable Spain worries me far more than an unstable Greece.

The rest of europe will not be able to fully contain violence if it happens in spain due to financial collapse and a rise of nationalism.

Im not saying this is happening or is going to happen, but the potential exists in my mind.

Europe is becoming so similar to late 20's early 1930's europe its uncanny
