We are supposed to plunge into the next great Ice Age. From what I understand about it, it's not going to be a gradual one, but rather a sudden type of ordeal. With as many of the volcanoes and even the melting of the tundra in Russia and possibly Canada and Alaska LOTS of methane's being released in almost incalcable rates and measurements. It's merely a matter of time before we see massive drop offs in tempertures planet wide instead of mostly in the Euporean countries. The Earth's axis is WAY off from the 23.5 degrees. That's also a major contributor in a quite a few ways. I don't think that this major Ice Age is going to last a long long time. Maybe a few decades at max. At least I hope so anyways.
