As this is true, too! It goes back much further than Crowley. It's too bad the man got into sex magick and other dark practices. The A.A & O.T.O could have actually been a good thing. Unfortunately, Crowley tainted the entire Order by giving it a reputation of being something similar to Satanism. It really is a shame. The guy twisted some pretty beautiful ancient and sacred wisdom into his own perspective and created a cult. I think if the A.A and O.T.O were to be restructured, it may have a chance at coming back and being something pretty great! |
