Addressing The 'Notes from an "alternate universe"' Thread

Please note I am not endorsing Chaol or his agenda, or trying to piggyback his popularity, I share words of caution, that is all.

This thread is about symbols, their creation, use and potential abuse, and the power of fucused intention. I was motivated to write it after reading Chaol's thread: Thread: Notes from an "alternate universe": Meeting in the new Dream reality

The first two paragraphs just set the scene.

In this time of great uncertainty, many lose sight of who they truly are, the everyday stresses numb us into a state far away from our natural grace, in which intuition becomes inaudible above the din of mundanity. Yet we are changing, profoundly, and we see this reflected in society around us.

The evolutionary force is pushing us all and those living consciously in self reflection are trusting in the benevolence of this process, to live in fear and greed without consideration for others we come across, is to work contrary to this force, the ride then becomes rougher.

I agree fully with Chaol's words here.

Your destiny, is yours to create, you are powerful, and of course you may or may not already know this.

Now to the point of this thread
Accepting a teacher, especially a spiritual one is not to be taken lightly. The same is true of a guide showing the way in the darkness. Listen to your intuition, for it is the most powerful guide you have. Others may talk of spirit guides, higher self, Jesus or some other being that they have come to trust and have faith in.

Symbols are powerful, those in power know this well, I am not attacking Chaol, because I do not know 'his' intention, and in any case an attack would be a misuse of my own energy. I wish to draw attention to the power of creating and using sysmbols. Sigils are a good example ( [link to en.wikipedia.org] ), focusing the intention and the power of their creator for some purpose. Ask yourself, if you trust in that purpose, and remember that you have the power to create your own reality, we do so every day, and it is cumulative.

Symbols have been used in Magick to communicate, protect, to bind, to seal, to attack, to contact angels and to contact demons, even to represent the almighty one. They are focused energy, for any purpose imaginable. Essentially they utilise, concentrate and direct the powers of what we crudely call the unconscious mind for some purpose of the will.

It can be beneficial and advantageous to follow another's lead, but trust that you are divine, that spirit guides you, have faith that you came here with a purpose, and that your dreams can become reality, because the two have always been one anyway.

Ultimately, Unity is our destiny, and the paths to Unity are as a game a child plays, for we are children of the Universe.
