Not many Inuk I know would eat a cabbage, lol. Or even know what to do with it for that matter.

There used to be a market called Saslove's in Ottawa who would ship orders up to Iqaluit fairly cheap. We would fax in an order in the morning (back when ppl still used fax machines), someone would pack it for pick-up at noon. It would leave Ottawa for Iqaluit on the afternoon flight, ending up on our doorstep before supper. I think shipping was maybe $25 ?

$300 worth of groceries from Saslove's, plus shipping, is still $1200 less than what you would pay if you bought the same stuff in Iqaluit.
