HOW can someone get high from bath salts? Seriously.

I suppose you're under the impression that it's something you actually add to your 'bath'?

Its the name of a drug, not the same thing as the bath salts you put in your bath. People could probably find out how to get high off of the bath salts you use for the bath too though.

I think the name of the drug is methredone or something....bath salts is the slang term OP!

They are research chemicals that are not illegal to sell so long as they are sold as things such as plant food, pond cleaner, bath salts etc.

In actual fact they are psychoactive compounds which are often very very potent, but the fact they are research chemicals often means toxicological data is not established, and as such many of them may in fact be seriously toxic, neurotoxic or carcinogenic.

Most of them tend to be compounds that are outside government legislation on drugs.

They are often monoamine compounds of phenethylamine, cathinone and tryptamine classes, which includes thousands of drugs.

They are often impossible to blanket ban or legislate as many of them are simply a couple of molecules different that naturally occurring compounds within the human central nervous system or infact slight modifications of naturally occurring compounds in plants etc.

Making them or precursors illegal or regulated could cause serious logistical problems and is somewhat un-policable because as soon as one is banned or made illegal a slightly different one pops up.

They are often referred to as legal highs, however the mistake is made by users assuming that because they are not illegal, they are safe.

Far from it, most of these chemicals are very dangerous, probably far more so than actual illegal drugs.

Methedrone is now illegal here in the UK. They passed legislation on it back in about 2009 i think?

Yeah it's really just sold under that name to be sneaky.... Really it's chemically sprayed 'herbs' that people smoke. Very dangerous and completely unnatural.

I believe it is snorted sometimes as well. From what I understand (which could of course be completely wrong) bath salts are usually a powder or crystal type substance and not herbs.

Just look what they have done to that sweet little girl who spilled the salt in the rain. LOL

If it doesn't grow naturally, don't take it.

I smoke pot, and have done Molly a couple of times but never have touched the bath salts, and never will. I have a couple of friends who buy it, and it's labeled as "Pump-It!" or "69" or something of the sort... All the same shit. It comes in little containers like lip balm may come in and looks like coke or any other fine powder. My friends always snorted it like coke.

What I've been told about it..
It's an unstable form of the drug Molly (MDMA) but is short one molecule from being pure.

If it was one molecule away from MDMA then its not MDMA, but another drug such as MDA, it wont make it any more stable or unstable, as molecular stability is nothing to do with purity and everything to do with the atomic structure and the electron configuration of the atoms within the said molecule.

What these chemicals are... are research chemicals that have been marketed to people because they are known to have psychoactive effects, but are legal to important because they are outside of drug legislation because they are structurally different to illegal compounds.

You smoke them.
