The pregnant woman, Feng Jianmei from Ankang City, was unable to pay the fine of 40,000 RMB for breaking the One-Child Policy, and was illegally taken into custody by the local town government, and forced to abort her baby. At 3:00 am June 4th, 36 hours after Feng Jianmei was compelled to accept a labor inducing injection, the dead fetus was taken out of her abdomen." |
