I hope it was for collins timber. Obama picked a dude who literally has an 89 IQ to be incharge of the IRS. Also, Fukishima really is the kill shot. Decide wisely. |

He is just a cog on the gear, Nothing more. Every single US Presidents is GUILTY of refusing to uphold the spirit of the law of the land. Even JFK...even JFK! But I think Obama accelerated the process greatly. He contributed more to the economic problems than most. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Anonymous Coward User ID: 18074829 United States 06/18/2012 02:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Romney can fix it. Every time we elect a Republican stuff gets fixed right? Quoting: Brainsdonthurtabit It sure as shit doesn't get any worse! ummmm what? Bush kinda did fuck up the housing market and got us into a war we didnt want. Those are two facts that you cannot dispute that left us with more problems. For the love of god please look toward libertarianism, Romney is an asshole [link to www.youtube.com] I think the repeal of Glass-Stegall and the efforts of Barney Franks and Chris Dodd had much more to do with the housing collapse than anything Bush did. They actually threatened bankers if they didn't write bad mortgages. And Obama kept us in Iraq and escalated Afghanistan so can't blame it all on Bush, either. But on destroying the economy, Obama is subscribing to the Cloward-Piven theory for collapsing the system by overloading it--favorite plan of progressive libs always. Should Obama get a second term, there will be nothing to stop him from finishing the job he has started. you might be right, its unfortunate i wasnt paying much attention when i was 14, 15, 16 to politics and know little about this subject = (. as far as obama blowing everything up on his second term... Hes not getting elected for a second term, he barely won the first one. americans are starting to wake up and the fact that there is ganna be two in my opinion out of touch, spineless candidates running for president might just be what this country needs to look elsewhere. Remember that more people today say that would consider voting third party more than ever in our history and i believe that it wouldnt take much more interest from the public for the libertarian party to upset the status quo and take over the white house. I hope gary johnson 2012. |

Quoting: Bluebird $3.59 - When Barack Obama entered the White House, the average price of a gallon of gasoline was $1.85. Today, it is$3.59. 22 - It is hard to believe, but today the poverty rate for children living in the United States is a whopping 22 percent. 23 - According to U.S. Representative Betty Sutton, an average of 23 manufacturing facilities permanently shut down in the United States every single day during 2010. 30 - Back in 2007, about 10 percent of all unemployed Americans had been out of work for 52 weeks or longer. Today, that number is above 30 percent. 32 - The amount of money that the federal government gives directly to Americans has increased by 32 percent since Barack Obama entered the White House. 35 - U.S. housing prices are now down a total of 35 percent from the peak of the housing bubble. 40 - The official U.S. unemployment rate has been above 8 percent for 40 months in a row. 42 - According to one survey, 42 percent of all American workers are currently living paycheck to paycheck. [link to bx.businessweek.com] The rest are equally shocking and found at that link. Lets do a little critical thinking here. I dislike Obummer as much as the next guy but this gets ridiculous sometimes. I remember paying 3 dollars plus for gas when Bush was in Office. Reason why I had to sell my beloved Crown Victoria. So I know this is fact. By the way. Obummer doesn't control oil prices. He already invaded Lybia for more oil. What do you suggest? 22 has to do with variable factors. Economy tanking (When Obummer took office the economy was already tanking), inflation (Fed printing money), wage stagnation, bailouts (The first one done under Bush). 23- Economy tanking, outsourcing, globalization etc. GoP is pro big-business and deregulation so by default globalists. 30- The Economy tanking. No new jobs being created. Young people entering the workforce etc. 32- More people without jobs, more people falling below poverty line, more people applying for wellfare, medicare/medicaid etc. 35. There was a bubble on the housing market and the markets made a correction. This is what triggered the banking crisis. Way before Obummer was elected. 40-42 Same thing. Economy tanking, wage stagnation, etc. Now he could have stopped the wars like he promised and used that money to pay for deeper tax cuts which may not make most people rich but you can put more food on the table, stimulate the spending side of the economy (More money in people's pocket= the more most people spend) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9559702 Because that didn't happen. Your numbers are 'way off. No, they're not... look it up. I have. And I can actually remember that far back. Contract with America and all that. Yes, Bush spent like a drunken sailor but at least he had the excuse of 9/11 fallout on the economy. He was no fiscal conservative at all. "Obama has messed it up. He didn't fix it." But when pointing to a Republican, they always say "It's been jerry rigged so bad it will be a hell of a time fixing it." Seriously? You don't think that is the problem with what Obama inherited from Bush? He should have just had an easy time, especially when the GOP basically became the party of no, stalling any action which could do good for the nation, all to make him fail ? |

He expanded government more than Obama did, but Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9559702 9/11 was the actual moment the collapse occurred. We over-reacted to the terrorists. I fought in the wars, and I can say... it was a total waste of money. No excuses for Obama either. Obama did twice as worse as Bush. And Romney will do twice as worse as Obama. There won't be any president who can pull us out of this... it's just going to get worse and worse year by year until we split up as country. Enjoy the last of the golden years while you still can, and be prepared to say good bye to them when the time comes. No, he didn't expand it more than Obama did... Before you speak, you should know your facts and then PROVIDE THEM.
