Anyone here on testosterone replacement therapy?
I started 200mg testosterone cypionate shots every 2 weeks. The first shot lasted 10 days. Second shot lasted about 12. I just had the third shot and the fatigue and anxiety has returned.

I was initially on Androgel and later went to a compound prescription because of the cost. The compound testosterone was working "ok" but later fizzled out for some reason.

Tonight I administered some testosterone gel that I had saved from my prior prescription and I feel better. Since I feel better, I don't think the problem is related to estrogen conversion. Is it possible that my body has excreted the injection?

Anyone have any experience with this problem?

I'm wondering why the 3rd shot seemed like a placebo? I was feeling great and I just crashed for some reason.

It is not possible your body excreted , you did make sure it was deep in the muscle right ?

I do not want to scare you but ,from my injections I had increased anxiety and insane sleep disorder .The testosterone stimulates your central nervous system .Also for me water retention was horrible even cutting my salt intake down

I am sure the nurse injected into the muscle. I don't feel any lumps under the skin. Although the first 2 shots had associated pain, the third was pain free. Maybe the nurse missed the muscle?

You might want to ask for Tamoxifen to make sure you don't develop gyno .

I am thinking about going back on the compound testosterone. Maybe try doubling the dose and see how well that works.

Doctors don't want to deal with conditions like mine and I have to figure this out on my own. Its starting to wear me down.

Well ,I caused my problem and I am not proud of it
I wanted to be a pro bodybuilder when I was younger
After being on 5000 mg a week along with another list of anabolic s from decca to eating 20 d ball a day and growth my liver decided to let me know you are going to die soon .

Now believe it or not 17 years later I am fairly healthy and drug free all natural .I did one show on the southeastern seaboard show and collapsed shortly after coming offstage
over use of diuretics .Long story !!

It doesnt seem you've done much research, if you don't want water retention then you need to use an ai like arimidex while you on the test and if you have developed gyno already then you will need nolvadex, I had no Idea test cures anxiety

You are lucky that your natural hormones work again. Have you had any tests to see if your heart is healthy?

Re: Anyone here on testosterone replacement therapy?
you need to see an endocrinologist- simple blood test will show your level.
there are some slight risks of brain tumours and prostate cancer that should be ruled out.
don't try to self medicate with this one.

Re: Anyone here on testosterone replacement therapy?
The problem is pretty simple. Test cyp or test enth are oil based and they will dramatically decline after 10 days. You are going through hormone fluctuations which fights your bodies built in mechanisms to achieve balance. Best way to receive a constant supply of test is to inject every 7-10 says. Even better is splitting your dose up into two injections per week.

No noticeable gyno so far. I mentioned anxiety because the fatigue causes anxiety in my case.

I will try to acquire those prescriptions, but it may be challenging dealing with general MDs. I can't get to see an endocrinologist until months from now.

Both FSH and LH are very low. I think the problem is related to the hypothalamus - gonadal secreting hormone deficiency.

Maybe I should try clomid to see if I can get some natural production going.
