Quoting: SeriousNews I've been shorted. All because of a system error in the company I work for. It will NOT be adjusted, just pushed to the next check. In such a bad economy, how can such incompetence be tolerated? I asked for a raise or to move to a higher pay area and hear nothing. But they short me 1/3rd my check? I'm bout to be a mountain man. I with you on the mountain man part. Work for sams Club and they do the same thing. Rent 500-800 and people make 10.00 hour. Do the math. |

Also, hardly anyone is getting a raise in this economy. Mostly, people are being fired, and other people are required to pick up their slack, without a raise, because the companies don't have the money to hire new/more employees. Also, asking for a raise probably isn't the best way to go about trying to get a raise. How about going to your management and presenting to them why you deserve a raise, IE out performing other people in your area, going above and beyond your job description, securing new clients/accounts, making the company more money than your equivalents. |
