I like gold long term because fiat currencies are not reliable, however,
it is unlikely that gold will not be correlated to oil and oil is nearing one year lows.

Look at the July-12 contract and see when the first delivery notice day is. June 29, 2012
After that date Precious metals will start to trend higher.

Unless QE-3 is injected it will happen sooner because the purchases will over-run their manipulation.

The gold and silver markets are manipulated by JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs, so there are no true gauges of what gold and silver will do.

The Federal Reserve works secretly with JP by providing them with however much money they need to run shorts on a limitless basis.

The FR bankrolls JP, JP drives the market down, and then pays back the money with interest to the FR keeping a nice profit for themselves.

The FR is not audited, so they can do pretty much whatever they wish and no one knows.
