I keep the smoke cover option off because since a few days after the High Park fire started and I woke to a smoke cloud in my neighborhood (I live a good hour+ away)its so depressing. I also use websites that have live feeds of emergency scanners and listen to the fire departments and emergency personal. |

Last update was at 300 acres and growing quickly. They were hoping to keep it from cresting a ridge closest to Boulder, it didn't happen. If this makes a big run with all the wind they are getting this evening, then this will be bigger news than most of the fires combined.
