Actually, that's pretty much where my thoughts have been centered upon of late.

All the other stuff we read and hear about can change as people's hearts and minds do, YET, its becoming apparent that weather/climate anomolies are here to stay.

It's as if we are living in a sci-fi movie, where pandemonium is breaking out all across the globe, but, there's too much to report all at one time for all to realize the big picture.

Last night on GLP we saw people posting about bizarre lightning around DC, without good information about what was truly occuring. Last I read, almost 350,000 were without power, and, all I could think about were people not only in the literal dark, but, quite alone to know what was truly going down.

Before seeing this thread, since waking up this morning my mind had been drifting towards that 'big picture,' asking: "What if it doesn't normalize? What happens as fires and storms and floods continue to upheave peoples lives, taking down grids, leaving an ever-increasing number of citizens alone without news in survival mode?"

Enter this video...a bit of comic relief, that, as the above AC has pointed out, doesn't seem too far off the mark, considering all that's happened so far.

I went to a Panera's to get a coffee this AM in Freehold, NJ. I was told they did not have any. What!!! I exclaimed, NO COFFEE. The teller said no sorry and pointed me to the latest copy of the Asbury Park Press. I said just give me the lo down. He said central Jersey's water processing plant was down due to some calamity.

BTW were I live in Monmouth County was the 2nd fastest growing, booming place during the real estate boom and this is what it has been reduced to. lol

Saturday is almost over and still no super volcano.

I guess you can't trust weather reporters.

Better wait till Wednesday just in case. If Godzilla doesn't show up we will know for sure!
