The media is using your shitty understanding of street drugs to spread disinformation and keep the real culprit from being identified.

No tox report and they're claiming bath salts already? From moderate aggression and overheating? Yeah, that's just regular ol' MDMA, kids.

And have you all forgotten the original face-eater was found not to have "bath salts" in his system?

i don't know why i am supposed to believe the BATH SALTS excuse now that we know other people have been acting similarly and have NOT been on bath salts.

she may have had paraphernalia at her home....and she may have not...i wasn't there. and if they'd lie about bath salts, they'd lie about what was in her damn home! anyways....even IF the story about her home and past drug practices are true.....still have a hard time blaming ANY of these cases on bath salts now.
maybe she had coffee, maybe they ALL drank coffee so it must be fucking coffee. (just as logical as saying its bath salts when there is no evidence except someone said they do it....etc)

MDMA can and will, as a matter of fact, cause you to overheat and turn aggressive. I am not a product of the D.A.R.E. campaign, and I'd even venture to suggest I know a hell of a lot more about street drugs than you do. I merely concede that IF any drugs were involved, it was just common MDMA. When you're wearing a hospital gown, it's not hard to end up naked in a struggle. MDMA is common, and although it can make you aggressive, it has NEVER been linked with flesh-eating. Just because this lady tried to bite someone during the struggle, doesn't mean she was going in for a meal.

MY POINT is that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to connect this to "bath salts". The title is misleading, UNSUPPORTED by evidence, and likely thrown in as a form of sensationalism to get your attention on the article.

How depressing is it too see so many of you drinking the anti drug kool-aid being fed to you by the gov and media. i'm not on MDMA but i'm starting to feel aggressive towards your ignorance of street drugs....

not that i think they are GOOD or anything, but i have an understanding of HOW THEY WORK in the brain. and MDMA can cause feelings that are NOT elation, but i have never (and will never) see someone belligerently attack another human being because of MDMA intoxication. you can overheat on MDMA and in the years of reports of deaths associated with MDMA and overheating...i never read any about them getting naked and hostile.

i don't know WHERE you got the idea that MDMA is involved in this case, or any of the cases. its much more absurd than the idea that it is some variation of bath salts.

i will EDIT and give you this Canadian AC....i could imagine ECSTASY eliciting a highly aggressive response depending on the situation, drugs included and condition of the user.

but NOT straight MDMA...i mean, considering the action of MDMA in the brain....it hardly lends itself to this kind of behavior.

there are many drugs that can cause aggression...MDMA as it is, unadulterated in pill form, should not (and classically DOES NOT) have these effects.

MY POINT IS: its not anything we are used to seeing, or else we would have been seeing this happen for YEARS...decades even. for as long as these street drugs YOU are blaming have been around. and thats not the case. NEXT theory.

I've done a lot of mdma...there's a reason why it's called the love drug buddy...it gives you feeling of euphoria... maybe you've wittnessed the contraire, but I think blaming this mess on drugs is the easy way out...and shotty investigating.

Keep drinking the kool-aid and help them justify their prohibition. So they can make more money selling their illegal drugs why don't ya. Ya that is a super idea!!

Great insight. It does make you wonder why the sudden increase in abnormal behavior being linked to Bath Salts. This subject has been in the news often in the past three months.Another story is the race issues and how it is being put in front of the viewers. Nothing is what it seems especially coming from the media. The media spins everything in order to keep the public preoccupied.

so this isn't some Sorch Faal BS....i mean, it may BE bs...but considering recent events..............*shrugs*

Again, I'm saying IF. Having experienced MDMA myself and being with many others who regularly practice, I've seen a certain percentage get agitated at high doses and end up scrapping for hours. I've also had the occasional trip that made me unusually agitated.

I am in no way trying to "blame drugs", so piss right off with that sentiment. What I'm saying is, I've seen the occasional person have an aggressive trip on MDMA. The vast majority of mine and others' trips have been the usual euphoria.

If she mixed cocaine with MDMA I can also understand the behavior, which is hard to tell because you don't "smoke blizzard" unless it's in the form of crack.

The only thing I'm going on record as saying here, is that "bath salts" are in no way involved, and I say that because there's absolutely no evidence that "bath salts" are involved... AND YET THERE THEY ARE, right in the article's title.

Look, people getting aggressive towards hospital staff is fairly common. Shit like this happens all the time.

I think this is was a fairly mundane incident that some media jackass added the word "bath salts" to in order to draw attention. It's called sensationalism.

the mechanism of action of MDMA would not make someone aggressive in this sense. and it definitely wouldn't make sense that ALL of these reports are MDMA. and...you think toxicology ONLY looked for bath salts? shit man, you're hurting my fucking brain......

i COULD see people having freak outs and the news getting all up in that and blaming bath salts to get people all riled up against bath salts.....
