Who hung an Iranian flag in a Nazareth school?


It's unclear whether the flag was hung to teach pupils about other countries or as an act of incitement. Some Nazareth residents are disturbed, others don't see it as a problem

The Education Ministry is investigating who is responsible for hanging an Iranian flag at the Mar Yousef Nazareth Baptist School alongside flags of Argentina, Germany, and Spain.

Police said that the display of the Iranian flag was "a crime, and we will look into how it came to be flown."

School principal Dr. Riyad Kamel denied that any of the flags belonged to the school. "We don't have flags, not of Iran and not of Hizbullah," he said. "I don't know who hung the flag without us knowing."
