Good heavens! Have you ever heard of buying a cookbook? Or you can pick up great recipes on epicurious.com online. Pick their simplest recipes for a beginner cook.

BTW: basic ingredients for Pizza dough are flour, salt, oil, water and a bit of yeast. (The exact proportions vary from one recipe to another. You kneed it together, let it rise for a few minutes, kneed it again, and then roll it out, using oil on your hands, you stretch it into the corners of the pan.

Pizza Sauce is mainly tomatoes, tomato paste, spices, etc. Spoon the sauce generously onto the dough that's stretched to fill the pan with no holes in the bottom of the dough. (remember to oil your hands so the dough won't stick to them.)

Add sliced peperonni, sausage (already cooked, not raw) other meats or veggies as you wish. There is no set rule for the toppings. I prefer veggie pizza but others insist on meats, pepperoni, ham, sausage, etc. Use your imagination. But don't get too wild first time or two. You've got to walk before you can run.

Top the whole thing with grated Mozzarella Cheese, grated parmesan cheese, garnish the top with chopped parsley and maybe fresh basil or oregano leaves diced into a minuscule dice.

Bake the pizza in a hot (like 425 degrees) oven for about 14 to 20 minutes until the crust is cooked thru and brown on the edges. Cool for five minutes, then cut and serve. It will cost you about 3 to 5 dollars worth of ingredients to serve a family of four or five vs spending 25 dollars for take-out or delivery pizza that isn't anywhere near as good, or as fresh.

Epicurious.com is a great source of recipes for about everything you could imagine.

Good pizza is very difficult to do at home...unless you have a pizza oven in your backyard.

But it can be done.......not traveling food though.
