Here in NJ, they have checkpoints where they pull cars off the road and check license, registration and proof of insurance. If you don't have your papers in order, they impound your car (which can cost about 300 dollars per day). The call them "safety checks". They are nothing but money grabs and show of force by our local gestapo.

Freedom means having the right to go down the road without being questioned for it. It means not being bothered by law enforcement unless they have probable cause that you are doing something wrong.

INS checkpoints, for example, have been popping up everywhere lately, in places far removed from our borders. What are they doing? Are they looking to catch and deport illegals? Hell no! They don't deport illegals anymore.

And the rule is, when you drive on the streets, you need to have these papers. If you don't, you are breaking the law and need to pay the price.

Is this really so hard to understand for you people?!

I don't want assholes who don't have insurance, or proof of insurance, or a license for that matter, driving on any road that me and my family are on!

You people who liken this to "Gestapo" or "Nazis" are just ignorant whiners.

The rules are in place for a reason, to protect the citizens. Your ignorance of that fact is disgusting and disturbing.

And the moment an illegal murders a family in the area...you people will bitch about a lack of effort by the police to keep illegals out...
