I saw an interesting phenomenon about a month ago, I was watching a thunderstorm that built up very quickly in the Texas Panhandle, it was extremely electric, with constant flashes of lightening, but the interesting part was there was lightening striking out of the top of the storm into the lower atmosphere, this is something I've NEVER seen before in our area, it was the strangest thing I've ever seen as far as weather goes...
