Senator Harry Reid has called for the Olympic uniforms to be burned

Talk about an own goal! A furious storm has erupted in the US after it was revealed that top designer Ralph Lauren had had the US uniforms for the London Olympics made in China.

Now leading Democratic politician Senator Harry Reid has called for the uniforms to be burned . He suggests the Olympic committee "start again …even if it's only singlets with the letter USA on them, painted by hand." [link to www.thedrum.co.uk]
