I'm praying for all of you and for myself in corporate worship with like minded believers. Despite the signs and symptoms of our civilizations, there is beauty and hope.

Prepping is about skills learned, so much so that they become the fabric of our being. No one can know them all. All of us can learn some.

Even if challenged by circumstances, the members of a tribe can pull together. This synergistic effect embraces differences and is tolerant of them.

We live together in a covenant relationship with each other and God. Real love doesn't force anyone to do anything. That's rape. Real love comes freely in reciprocity because mentally balanced folks want to return affection and caring.

Some people will falter. They won't prepare and won't help themselves. We have to be at peace with that.

Today, I am praying for all of you to prepare and learn new skills, hone old ones, and be willing to listen to wise older experienced people.

These old ones will surely die if there is a collapse, and their knowledge and wisdom will pass from this world. We owe it to them and to ourselves to work as communities. Perhaps that will mean repelling evil, but most likely it will mean ridding the evil within ourselves. The mote in another's eye is so very small, but the log within our own is so very large.
