Many months later I was at the pub we all frequented, when I needed to make a phone call at a 'phone booth' <--- remember those?

He suddenly came into the little room and asked to talk to me.
We walked back to his house, and sat on the front step. He then proceeded to apologize to me, for blaming for something I didn't do, that he had recently realized.
He was crying.
I watched him then experience the pain I had experienced with his sudden shunning. He saw it. Recognized it. And atoned for it.
Having not seen a 'grown man cry' besides my father once as a youth, I was taken aback.
We became friends again after...
I have considered...that perhaps his reasoning of showing me his death 24hrs before it occurred, and then coming to me after, was his way of 'making it right'.
