Behaving Oddly , James Holmes during his first Court appearance , and other oddities
I seen his appearance in Court on HDTV and boy , unless he is a Very good actor , it looked like he was just coming out of being Drugged .
His facial expression was one of TOTAL Disbelief ! It looked as he thought he was Dreaming ...

But what I find Equaly strange is that the woman lawyer seating besides him didn't pay attention whatsoever to his unusual emotional expression ...

And Who said he was planning the shooting for 4 month ? Let's Examine that evidence .

Batman killer makes first court appearance , behaving oddly

[link to www.presstv.ir]

Looking dazed and confused, 24-year-old James Holmes behaved in a strange way during his first public appearance on Monday.

Shuffling into the courtroom, the Ph.D. student of neuroscience at the University of Colorado-Denver graduate school sat motionlessly next to a defense lawyer, looking down and then straight ahead without blinking for long periods of time and remained silent. ... more ...

And then this oddity : FBI said he already purchased 6,000 rounds of ammunition Yet he shows up at the scene with only twelve ??? Do we need a detective to find something wrong with this picture ?

But wait , there is a bonus : while he was wearing a bullet-proof vest he did Not oppose being arrested !! Did he ( or someone else ) wanted him to be captured alive ?!

" .... According to local police Chief Dan Oates, the suspect was armed with an AR-15 automatic rifle, 12 rounds of bullets, a 40mm pistol, and two teargas canisters.

The masked gunman, who was wearing a bullet-proof vest, was immediately arrested in the rear parking lot of the movie theater without any resistance . " .....

" ... Also on Friday, US officials said that Holmes had bought over 6,000 rounds of ammunition over the Internet in the past two months ... " ....

But is Still More , people !!

Look at this :

" ... and two teargas canisters.

The masked gunman, who was wearing a bullet-proof vest, was immediately arrested in the rear parking lot of the movie theater without any resistance . " .....

So he thought of shooting then throw the teargas and hope to .. run away ?! Yet he never used them ... all the way to the parking lot where he ... surendered peacefuly !

Yet is still More : he was wearing a Mask , and had the hair painted Red , for higher visibility : so the witnesses will say : We saw the Masked guy with the Red hair Shooting Then Running away ..... Just How will he be Positivelly identified as The shooter ??!

Hmmm , was it the SAME person ???

OP I actually thought the same thing after watching the video. He looks to be confused and in disbelief. Almost at times looked like he was wanting to say something but couldn't for some reason get it out.

I'm not saying this guy isn't guilty.... I'm just saying in my mind and apparently in MANY others.... this is just not adding up

WHY do people want this to be a government conspiracy theory? Why are these folks unable to except it for what it is: the independent actions of a very sick person?

All of the past information and behavior I've seen reported on is pretty much text-book schizophrenia.

From [link to www.helpguide.org]
Early warning signs of schizophrenia
In some people, schizophrenia appears suddenly and without warning. But for most, it comes on slowly, with subtle warning signs and a gradual decline in functioning long before the first severe episode. Many friends and family members of people with schizophrenia report knowing early on that something was wrong with their loved one, they just didn’t know what.
(Which is why his mother immediately confirmed "You have the right person," when informed of the shooting by the media. HIS OWN MOTHER KNEW WITHOUT HESITATION THAT HER SON WAS CAPABLE OF SUCH ACTIONS & YET THE CONSPIRACY THEORISTS DON'T? I guess the conspiracy theorists think his mother was brain washed as well?)

Also from From [link to www.helpguide.org]
In this early phase, people with schizophrenia often seem eccentric, unmotivated, emotionless, and reclusive. They isolate themselves, start neglecting their appearance, say peculiar things, and show a general indifference to life. They may abandon hobbies and activities, and their performance at work or school deteriorates.

Very good point !

Indeed , the reason why Holmes was in the Court is so the Official Procedures , the Law , can make Sure he Understands what is going on ! But apparently he was Confused ! It was OBVIOUS to all who watched !
So , if you would be the Court and notice his odd behaviour indicating Confusions , wouldn't you Stop and investigate his state of mind by asking him a few questions ??
It didn't happened ...

Further more , if you would be his Lawyer , wouldn't you want to make sure your client is Well represented by making sure he is Awake and understands what's going on ?
After all who would believe that Holmes and his lawyer JUST MET seconds before entering the Court ?!

Ummm... ever read the book or seen the movie by the name of "A Beautiful Mind"? Yeah, just happens to be the story of based on the life of John Nash, a Nobel Laureate in Economics, and his struggles with... schizophrenia.

Your assumption that someone cannot be gifted/intelligent and simultaneously suffer from mental illness and that's just not factual at all.

One thing that struck me odd is the picture of the girl they had walking into the court room that was shot in the face. The caption under the photo says that she was shot in the face. She has a minor scab on her chin. Maybe she was hit by shrapnel or grazed but it does not look like she was shot in the face.

No, he was so drugged up he couldn't speak if he wanted to. It's so obvious he was drugged up.. if he is spitting on everything in jail, why would he suddenly be silent in the courtroom. None of these people, even his lawyers, are interested in him being treated "fairly". I wonder if the family is trying to get him new lawyers? Or can they even do that at this point?

He had a lot more than 12 rounds...probably more like 12 mags, or possilbly 1,200...he shot 70+/- people.

Also said he "used" a 100 rnd "clip"...that would have to be a "snail" type mag...from looking at the photos an AR-15 type rifle was recovered with a "Bannana clip" type mag...so if all of the above is true...he drained the snail mag and reloaded with at least one 30 round mag....recovered with bullets still in it.

Did the judge order a psychological evaluation? If at this point he looks this FU I'd be seriously wondering if he had the mental capacity to pull off an attack.

I suppose there is drug induced schizophrenia. He could have been give a huge dose of LSD.

Cops prosecutors judges are the last people who you would think want the truth. They want a conviction.

As usual people are buying guns because the "authorities" are giving jumbled unconvincing explanations. As long as they think they got someone they will do nothing else. Lazy sobs.

They better have taped the interrogation after the arrest 100% or thats it for me. I won't believe anything they say after that.
