give..and you shall recieve

Love should be shown to someone who has earned it... It is not something that should be just given...

he said it..what you wish others do to you..do first to them


in other words..give..and you shall receive..

think how that changes everything

from the egotistical universe of one asking..to the loving and generous act of giving..

if we gave..we would make others happy..we would spread love..hope..joy..togetherness..we could change the world

and we would recieve..what we have given..we give love..we recieve love

revolutionary..as was Christ..and simply put..as He did..with few words..He explained how to change the world and us with it

We are not perfect...but I think our core should remain and be..Love..because that is the anchor..the spiritual anchor that keeps us grounded in God..

and maybe it would explain a lot..how often we ask but we dont recieve..

why? maybe because we have to give first..that which we want to recieve..

Do not get me wrong wildhoney - I like you and I like your heart...

But, believe me, I am someone who knows - those messages and your interpretations are not what you think...

This world will never come to this mindset, it is not intended to... This is a unique planet with a unique purpose...

You would do far better applying universal principles:

Like attracts like - Seek those who are travelling a similar path to yours...

Allowance - Let others do what they will for their path, as long as they do not try to impose their belief and ways on you...

Intention - Control yourself, not others...

Balance - Application of the above 3, naturally leads to balance...

Interesting you mention gift..I was thinking Christ is the greatest gift of all

I think tyoo many maybe think this planet is of now worth..that it is expendible..I beg to differ..this is part of Gods Creation and therefore in my opinion sacred..

Christ Himself said to put the Kingdom FIRST..By implication one is to suppose He did the same probably

It was actually explicit: the kingdom = the fruits of the Spirit, which He demonstrated in the face of accusations and brutality upon Himself personally. Forgiving those who nailed Him up there was about as Kingdom as it gets :)

With your line of reasoning AC........you would also have to say that the writings of Plato, Socrates, etc........are also just myth.....or only someone's opinion that they are real.

You would have to in fact dismiss all scienfific and historical writings from the past.......that are not within your own particular lifetime.....because you were not there.

The born again experience is invisible and crosses all boundaries, religion and politics, it is an experience. We all need this experience that transcends all dogmas of all religions. Just as a child develops even to adulthood and beyond so to our inner being birthed by Heaven itself, well those who invite the Lord God into their own lives of their free will and not by right of birth-earthly birth. Without this experience one can not fully develop in love and grace. The love of Heaven transcends the love that we know it as here on earth. NLT John 1:11He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. 12But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

Just because one who belongs to a group of people of God does not immune your responsibility to know the Lord yourself on a personal level. You must be born again, this can only happen if you turn to God and accept Him on His grounds and not by claimants of any one group of people who may claim God for their own entity or identity. You can not see this experience you may not even feel it but your experience will manifest in your own life as you go through the growing pains of spiritual adulthood. First you have to be born from Heaven and take your baby steps, don't worry if you fall you will get up again. But a child does not remain a child.

what is an obstacle to spiritual commitment is in my opinion..the chains that tie us to the secular world..we may doll them up with thousand of nice sounding excuses but usually they are just that..chains

the spirit is easy flowing...it flows..is pure..open..transparent..it feels..yes feels..it has emotions of pure love in all its completeness..

it understands..it needs..nothing of the secular world..that the ego requires..it sees the beauty of purity ..purity of emotions..and feelings..and thoughts..transparency

The spirit has no doubt as to the will of God..it doesnt falter..it knows..it understands..and it is One with God

When one is tied to the secular world..albeit masked with many different covers..one doubts..one hasnt peace..one fears..one falters..one wants..and strives to achieve..one is a prisoner of ones own lack of insight

then even gifts from God become imperfect..and not appreciated..simply because one sees without seeing..one is blind to the Truth..

My opinion the above

To become one with God..with Gods will..to be connected..and to read and understand when he communicates

To rise above the lures and temptations of the darkness..and to stop dolling them up with a myriad of well sounding excuses..because the dark knows our weaknesses..and acts accordingly in a very subtle and even gentle way..to lure one away from doing Gods will..because nothing is coincidence..nothing ever is..

By their fruits

two paths..one with a spiritual goal..and spiritual fruits

One that feeds the ego..and the ego..

The first will be full of doubts and fears..because the ego will see to it

the second will seem liberating..like freedom..because the ego will see to that too

unless there is a strong spiritual connection to God not only discerning between the two will not be easy..but following the first either

As Christians I believe..we cant serve two masters..we cant serve the unglodly world and God at the same time..we cant tick and tock according to one..then comply with the other

we cant behave with others as a person of the world..then comply with God..

we have to choose..

by their fruits..

a person..by their fruits

a path ..by its fruits..not always the apparent ones..the very deep long lasting effects..in all its different variants..not only regarding the me myself and I

The Kingdom first and foremost..To serve the Kingdom

ALL submitted to that one question..will this serve God and the Kingdom?

what will serve God and the Kingdom more?

This or that?

Not only regarding me myself and I ..but the ripple effects regarding all situations and people involved..

and to act accordingly..thats my opinion

its often a leap of faith..because its meant to be

to believe..where there is no tangible proof..we have seen that over and over again in the Gospels..its belief where logically there could be little..becuaes God asks us to choose

And the ego rebels..

If I do X..how will it affect this situation?

How will it affect this or that person?

what will become of this or that person?

how best would I be serving God..and Christ?

How will my behaviour be more pleasing to God?

what will I put first..my needs...my wants..my egos request for me myself and I, my so called freedom? or God and the Kingdom?

If someone says to you..my goal IS TO SERVE GOD AND THE KINGDOM..treasure that person




But how many say that and how many really mean it?

Its easy to appear kind and gentle..

but the true nature lies in ones goals..what do we make our goal in life?

Is it God and the Kingdom?..or is it the usual Goals of the secular world?

when they nailed Christ to the cross..

all His followers that few days before were hailing Him and praising Him upon entry into the city..and many others had the choice..

To serve the Kingdom and be with Him during His final hours

or to tick and tock according to the world..and hide in their homes for fear of reprisals..and or deny Him like Peter did.

They chose..and yes they failed Him..every one of them..in my opinion

Even if they cried and prayed while in hiding..they failed Him

they put themselves before Him

they betrayed His Love

They betrayed Him

You speak of Judas

But you forget the cowards that hid in fear

where were they?

Did they collect His blood when it mingled with the mud?

Did they curse His butchers..?

Did they stay with Him and never leave Him?

How many today would do exactly the same'

How many that pray and kneel and oh so love Him would abandon Him again..to protect themselves..of all things..to cherish their bodies over Christ? how absolutely ridiculous is that??

How many would never leave Him ever?

Its easy to recite scriptures..to pray..

they all managed pretty well Im sure

but when it came to the test..they RAN..

Do you think they will inherit?

They that tried to save their body and didnt think of saving their spirit?


Do you think they will be in the Kingdom?

After He died..were there crowds of weeping followers in jerusalem? in a ny other city?

was there wailing?

Did the authorities have to disperse crowds..peacful as true followers of Immanuel..but mournful..weeping crowds?

doesnt seem so..

everyone hiding..in fear for their precious bodies?

bodies that are now dust..as is their name and memory

anyone ever remember those cowards?
