It was up 2 days in a row so I suspect that we will see a down day.

It'll go up and up and up as the bailouts start rolling out all over the world again. Just wait, it'll skyrocket when QE3 comes.

I would think that investors see through all of this worthless chatter and look at all of the companies who just released poor earnings.

The only people that have the money to invest are the companies that have poor earnings.

I would suggest you take advantage of the stock market as much as possible, as a crash is imminent.

we are due a down day by Wednesday, probably a pretty sharp sell off

the specualtors only want movement in the market to make money. They don't care which way it goes. that's what moves the market.

Actually, some earnings have been very positive

furthermore, believe it or not, but the US is viewed as one of the safest places to put money right now.

the problem is that there is a tremendous amount of money out there, which needs to be parked somewhere. Government bonds are paying so little, or even negative, that equities are the only place to make a profit

In addition, the US dollar, after a long cyclical downturn, is viewed as in a positive cycle which could well last for several years according to major analysts (not those on GLP, obviously, who are all expecting a dollar crash)

I'm not making these predictions, only sharing what the current "wisdom" is and explaining why the market isn't collapsing as expected
