Heh, debunk this Moon tards: Four decades after the last astronauts landed on the moon and planted an American flag in lunar soil, scientists wondered: 'Does that star spangled banner yet wave?' Finally new images from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC) have given proof in the night, that the flags are, indeed, still there. All but one of the six flags left by American astronauts remain standing, according to an analysis of the shadows they cast on the surface of the moon. [ link to www.dailymail.co.uk] Great picture! and with such clarity! I see them! All 6 of them! And I even see the 100 apple trees that Johnny Appleseed planted. Funny thing, though. All 100 of them are still standing, yet those crazy astronauts couldn't get 6 flags to stay standing. Who waters those apple trees? I remember that day, on 21 July 1969, when Buzz Aldrin opened that hatch and climbed down the ladder and set foot on the moon. I remember it well. We even watched it on TV. There was even a camera outside of the lunar module to capture that moment as it happened to record man's first step on the moon. Ummm, who was holding the camera? Or if it was on a tri-pod, how did it get there? It was attached to the MESA arm and pre-aimed at the hatch. And it wasn't Buzz that first stepped out it was Neil. I doubt you actually remember it at all. I'm betting you're 15 or less. You're a little picky, aren't you? Just because my memory is failing me, you think I'm 15 or less. Well someone who is 15 or less could probably remember things better than I can, at my old age. I'm betting that YOU are 15 or less, or you would've known that. I was a teenager when they landed on the moon. That would make me quite a bit older than 15, wouldn't it? You don't act like it.
