What was it's main goal?

Damn! The 1-star bandits are out in full force today!

Seriously; I'm curious as to what you think the "main goal" was if it was a failure.

The main goal was to sell a lot of chicken sandwiches.

First, and elaborate murder/homegrown terrorism plot had to be hatched, in order to psych the public into the proper mental state required for part two of the project.
The next phase involved a coordinated effort to switch the public dialog over to a new topic--one so totally stupid that it would grab the attention of idiots everywhere. In this case, the non-issue of personal choice (everyone should have it.period.) was tossed into the mix via-a-vis the hot button topic of same sex marriage, twisted in with some old time religion. Ingeniously, this whole new public debate could be resolved only through the mass purchase of chicken sandwiches from a tiny chain that most people had never heard of before.


A few people had to die, sure. But it was worth it to sell all those chicken sandwiches.

I believe that the goal of the aurora shootings is actually happening. It is to arm the citizens. We are headed for chaos and rebellion.

I agree it's completely off the radar!

However, what this does prove is they need to up the ante if they want a lasting effect from the American people!

I wonder if this latest round of shootings at the Sikh temple was their way of upping the ante.

Very possible and I'm sure more to come. It will be a constant barrage until it's mission accomplished!
