It really is ridiculous that most people think it is necessary to shower daily. If you are mostly sedentary (as I am) and live in an agreeable climate (which I do) it is not necessary to shower daily.

Because I don't want to give any hint of my location in the United States (not that you could simply track my IP), my climate is a Koppen system Dfb (humid continental, pretty vague).

It removes beneficial oils from your skin and hair if you shower too much or at too high of a temperature.

I don't even run my water heater unless I need to wash clothes or do dishes.
