Heard a speech from monk saying to faithful that the next pope will be the false prophet and another one said about the scandals before it broke on MSM, but that's hardly surprising imo. From an Orthodox eschatology perspective Catholic church and the Pope will cease to exist after ww3.

Actually i was just about to start writing the post about Bulgaria since i found spare time tonight and the weather here is terrible, i may post it tonight if i'll manage to finish it and promise that i will include a pope post too.

pope face palm

Pope's recent resignation has given a whole new eschatological dimension to current world events, prophecytards are indeed riding. Some weird recent Pope's/RCC comments and actions:

The entire Christian calendar is based on a miscalculation, the Pope has declared, as he claims in a new book that Jesus was born several years earlier than commonly believed, Pope will tweet in eight languages starting on 12/12/2012 using his personal handle @Pontifex, Vatican clergy and employees will be issued with an identity card complete with a microchip-tracking device in sweeping new security measures designed to prevent a repeat of the Vatileaks scandal

Pope: The aim of Ecumenism is the visible unity of divided Christians, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew highlights Pope Ratzinger's important theological and patristic culture as well as his modernity. His contribution to ecumenism with Orthodox was fundamental.

RCC is getting completely defamed on MSM daily with various scandals. A weird incident in the Axion Esti icon parade in Thessaloniki here in Greece some months back, 2 monks, before the police stopped them, tried to lynch the officials of the parade (archbishop of Greece, bishops, military officials, mayor etc.) while shouting "traitors, heretics, you sold us to the Pope, anathema to the ecumenists". blink
These 2 monks have been declared heretics by the Patriarch way before this parade. Patriarch Bartholomew has also been accused of ecumenism and papacy-friendly policies and speeches by many, including clerics, during the last years.

So i wonder, is the ecumenism agenda back on the table for Christianity? Aren't all those interfaith meetings and conferences with worlds religious leaders a bit suspicious? Have they already laid the groundwork for some kind of globalized religious authority? Already mentioned in this thread by my Argentinean AC friend that such meetings take place at least once a year in Astana, Kazakhstan in a pyramid that was specially constructed to host the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, it's called the 'Palace of Peace and Reconciliation' or the 'Pyramid of Peace and Accord'. And all these meetings end with them calling for world peace, which is a good thing off course, what else could they call for, but there is a certain epistle to the Thessalonians warning us for 'when they shall say peace and safety'. Elder Paisios also warned us for a globalized religion attempt:

"Ecumenism, and a common market, a large state, a religion in their means. These are the plans of the devils. The Zionists are preparing someone for Messiah. For them the Messiah is King, that will rule here on earth. The Jehovah's and others, aspire to one earthly king. Zionists will present one, and the Jehovah's will accept him. They will say "he is." Big confusing will occur. Within this confusion, everybody will ask a Messiah to save them. Then, they will present one who will say: "I am the Imam, I am the fifth Buddha, I am the Christ that Christians are waiting for, I am the one the Jehovah's are waiting for, I am the Messiah of the Jewish people."
Five "I" he will have! "

Already mentioned that this years May the 5th Easter is potentially very important. We'll study a Greek Orthodox prophecy of St. Cosmas of Aetolia with calentarding potential that talks about Easter and summer.

"It will come (the desired) when two summers and two Paschal (Easter) celebrations will come together."

In Orthodoxy the Annunciation is usually referred as the Little Easter. Some Orthodoxy experts argue that the above prophecy has been fulfilled with the fall of communism, with the two summers being the two good news of the liberation of N.Epirus and rest of Orthodox Slavic peoples from atheist regime in 1991, coinciding the feast of Easter and Annunciation. Others argue that the prophecy hasn't been fulfilled, because St.Cosmas's frequently prophesied 'the desired' can't possibly mean anything else than the rise of Orthodoxy/Constantinople and all that. The two Easter feasts fell on the same date again on 1912, 2007 and 2010. This will happen only one more time in this century on the year 2018, won't happen again until 2100.

This leaves off course the prophesied 2 summers unexplained, but most prominent theory says that this has something to do with the current climate changes and mild winters. Eleven of the 12 hottest years on record have occurred since 2001, according to data from the World Meteorological Organisation, UK Met Office said that it is very likely that 2013 will be one of the warmest 10 years in the record which goes back to 1850, and it is likely to be warmer than 2012.
[link to www.euractiv.com]

Another important '2 Easter' case starts this May 5th for Christianity:
To further good ecumenical relations, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem has decided to modify its liturgical schedule so as to be congruent with the practice of the Orthodox churches. This means Easter in the Holy Land will be celebrated on May 5th in 2013 rather than March 31. In 2014 and 2017 both Catholic and Orthodox Easter fall on the same date, but it won't happen again for the next 17 years, BUT as of 2015, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem will adopt the Julian calendar, meaning that from this May, Christians will celebrate Easter together in the Holy Land.

Yours faithfully, calentard. ltana

Re: The Complete Guide To Greek Christian Orthodox Monks Prophecies About WW3 And The Events Coming!!!
euphrates

Some Tigris-Euphrates drying up doom. According to an UNESCO study these vital lifelines could dry up completely by 2040.

A new study using data from a pair of gravity-measuring NASA satellites finds that large parts of the arid Middle East region lost freshwater reserves rapidly during the past decade. Scientists at the University of California, Irvine; NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.; and the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo., found during a seven-year period beginning in 2003 that parts of Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran along the Tigris and Euphrates river basins lost 117 million acre feet (144 cubic kilometers) of total stored freshwater. That is almost the amount of water in the Dead Sea. The researchers attribute about 60 percent of the loss to pumping of groundwater from underground reservoirs.
[link to www.nasa.gov]

Water-Shortage Crisis Escalating in the Tigris-Euphrates Basin: The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, originating in Turkey and cutting through both Syria and Iraq, have experienced drastic reductions in water flows in recent years due, primarily, to Turkish hydro-engineering and regional droughts. This is of significance for Iraq, which has historically prospered because of the rich agricultural harvests based on water supplies sourced from these waterways. Turkish initiatives aimed at massively expanding their exploitation of the water from the two rivers have coincided with severe droughts in the region and resulted in a burgeoning water-shortage crisis in Iraq. This problem threatens an environmental catastrophe. Political negotiations between the three countries have so far fallen short of reaching agreement on providing the necessary increases in flow rates to address the deteriorating situation in Iraq.
[link to www.futuredirections.org.au]

Years before the eruption of the Arab Spring and the revolt against the Assad dictatorship there were signs of acute social disruptions in various regions of the country from diminished rainfall and agricultural crisis. From 2006-2011, up to 60% of Syria’s land experienced, in the terms of one expert, “the worst long-term drought and most severe set of crop failures since agricultural civilizations began in the Fertile Crescent many millennia ago.” The Food Policy Research Institute “projects that… yields of rainfed crops in the country may decline ‘between 29 and 57 percent from 2010 to 2050.

Social unrest soon followed the agricultural crisis: Rural-urban population movements throughout the course of the recent droughts have placed significant strains on Syria’s economically-depressed cities, which incidentally have their own water infrastructure deficiencies. Poor have been forced to compete with poor not just for scarce employment opportunities, but for access to water resources as well. According to Damascus-based expert Francesca de Châtel, Syria has experienced a “huge deterioration of [water] availability per capita,” partly as a result of a crumbling urban infrastructure. Furthermore, the role of disaffected rural communities in the Syrian opposition movement has been prominent compared to their equivalents in other “Arab Spring” countries. Indeed, the rural farming town of Dara’a was the focal point for protests in the early stages of the opposition movement last year – a place that was especially hard hit by five years of drought and water scarcity, with little assistance from the al-Assad regime.

According to the prophecies, because of Pope's massive involvement in ww3 events and their attempt to bring the antichrist, the RCC will be completely destroyed and one Patriarch will be anointed for all Europe.

Yea the euphrates drying up is defenetly not a good sign, i understand the drying up is supposed to uncover something, i think that comes from the muslim hadith

i'd also like to ask your oppinion on the gospel of barnabas thats supposed to be in a safe in ankara, do you know anything about it? i think they confiscated it from smugglers in 2000, is that the book of truth?

A quick review of what three people mentioned about their talks with Elder Paisios:
1)In the early 1990 or 1991 among the people visiting the elder was a civil engineering student studying in the university of Xanthi. The Elder turned το him and told him that he will be one of those who will rebuild Constantinople after the city becomes greek. Also other witnesses mentioned the Elder's word that the former king of Greece will play a part in the negotiations for Constantinople. The former monarch Constantine was born in 1940.If you make some guesses with their ages you can safely count on a time window for these events between 2017- 2027,Also in a forum they mention the testimony of a man in his early sixties who personally knew elder Paisios. He was told that he will die 80 years old he will live five years in the City after it becomes greek again. He said him that before the russians invade Turkey a major disaster will hit the Usa and it will cease το be a world power. The american population will suffer great losses in this catastrophe they mention that the remaining usa population will be something like 40 million only. The same man said that one third of all humanity will perish in this war. Will they use nuclear weapons? Also there is a video on youtube from a cypriot tv show where a man talks from the phone on the air.He is a refugee from the turkish occupied cyprus and elder paisios told him that he will live and return in his home after a war in middle east that will last for years.

four years not for years. There are russian prophecies also.In a hurry they say that china will betray the russians as they lose this war and occupy all the siberia.Russia will become small with borders το the urals as in 16th century but will be ruled after the war by a pious czar, and many will be brought to Orthodoxy by Russia.Germany will be one of the first nations to become orthodox after the war.A Russian saint Saint Matrona said that after the war people will use wooden tools and life will be hard but good.

Thanks for kind words friend. cheers Sorry for late response, how are you? Hope things are well there!

The thing with Euphrates besides that could potentially dry up completely in the future, has an immediate impact on the current conflict between Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Kurds, even if the the worlds big players won't intervene at all (besides selling both sides weapons off course), these ME countries will fight for this water, they already kinda do. Hadith's interesting, what does get revealed? I think there is an obvious connection between the 'end of the world' of Abrahamic religions and Euphrates-Tigris drying up, these rivers helped countless civilizations to survive for thousands of years.

Barnabas gospel is considered a hoax so far from what i know, some Muslims love it because it supposedly confirms their side of the story but even notable Islam scholars have said it's a hoax, do you know something else?

Have you watched a couple of Father Elpidios speeches? Some great stuff there, for RCC too, he even called back in the summer that this Pope will be kicked out, spooky if you ask me. Are you really in Iceland or is it just a flag thingy?

You're right on that, scholars and experts can definitely dictate what is true or not and serve us their opinions on a plate. The Sunni caliphate is being set up as we speak with the MB installed in country after country imo. Both Qatar and Turkey have an instrumental role in this off course.

Read this today about MB and Qatar, some interesting details i didn't know. [link to www.radicalislam.org]

Glad you're fine friend, i totally understand with the big city issues, you definitely should do what your heart is telling you to do, revitalization is key, even for small periods of time it's good, wish you the best in saving money, quite a task these days tbh.

I'm doing fine too friend, things don't get better here, but you always find stuff to appreciate in your daily life even when things are hard a bit. I'm so jealous it's summer there, we're in the last days of winter here, although i admit that this winter was one of the mildest i've ever experienced.

you know the amia bombing is a big thing here now(the oppisition in the congress had a sign with a pirate flag and "iran kills"). the jews are actualy threatening to strike again.not happy with pissing off the jews this crazy bitch cristina is also demanding those islands back. the british are not interested in peace, they probably have nuclear weapons down there.
im getting out of here as soon as i can, people dont even know theres not a single piece of evidence to blame iran.
dont you think its time for all of us to support iran? they're the only one standing to them.

I dont know if i should stay somewhere here, away from buenos aires or go somewhere else. my family is the only thing that i would miss.

Didn't know this about amia and stuff, thanks for info. I wouldn't worry about British nukes if i was you, can't see this going that way. The place, it'll come to you when you're ready imo, you'd miss family off course but you'll find creative stuff to do with your time. :)

Grandpa Bush gave things to Hitler too, playing with both sides for starters and see where you go. The thing is US economy will indeed crash at some point, US will also be energy independent and major exporter in about 10 years time, they'll bug out from the ME for good, but for order and stability to be maintained they've chosen some specific countries and beefed them up to play the regional policeman/power, remains to be seen if this will pay out in the end imo, some choices are bad and lead to further tensions and no one really knows where this will lead. I doubt that Israel, as things stand now, will go for a land-grab, already at odds with the whole intl community for post-1967 lands, but if shtf who knows really.

As for Iran evidence, i'm from the ones that believe that they already have something, but this is not really about nukes, nukes are a 30year showcase and i don't buy a bit of it, Iran is growing a lot in terms of influence in the ME and is expanding in Central Asia, Africa and Med Sea, that's the problem and with potential imminent reduce of the Western influence, it can grow even more. I just like to watch and analyze tbh, i'm not a supporter kinda dude, i do like Iranian people and every Iranian i met abroad was very cool, but let's not kid ourselves my friend, Iran is a dictatorship just like Saudi/Qatar, off course they have their reasons to be this way but they're both oppressive, most Iranians would be extremely happy if theocratic regime was not there, from a human rights/liberties perspective i can't stand with Ayatollah's as i don't support apartheid policies either, i stand with the people of Iran and their choice and i do believe that they deserve better than this, off course i don't agree with any military intervention or rose revolution there as i don't support such things anywhere else. I know that the West due to its massive economic problems is acting erratic, but i can't support N.Korea for example because it stands against the west, two wrongs don't make a right imo, so i try to distance myself from supporting anyone.

how else do you explain obama giving away f16 & tanks to egypt, lybia, mali then? israel is going to take the opportunity to steal more land, of course. i guess im asking because im tired of living in this jewish infested country.
you know the amia bombing is a big thing here now(the oppisition in the congress had a sign with a pirate flag and "iran kills"). the jews are actualy threatening to strike again.not happy with pissing off the jews this crazy bitch cristina is also demanding those islands back. the british are not interested in peace, they probably have nuclear weapons down there.
im getting out of here as soon as i can, people dont even know theres not a single piece of evidence to blame iran.
dont you think its time for all of us to support iran? they're the only one standing to them.

Promised to give another possible theory on Bulgaria. A very interesting detail in the prophecy-poem that says Bulgaria being the initial cause, it also mentions Bulgaria once more in the end of the poem and says that Bulgaria will commit a serious act of treason and will conspire and make an alliance with Turkey against Russia.

We all know that bad things happen for profit or the securing of future profits, so for anyone bored to read the next detailed post, the short answer for an alternative theory regarding Bulgaria is like everywhere else on the planet, business and resources/pipelines, Bulgaria is a decisive piece in the geopolitical chess game between the West and Russia.

Follow the $$$

One of the most important goals for EU/West is diverse energy supplies/routes because it's heavily dependent on Russian energy, West is accusing Russia of monopoly practices. This EU quest for energy diversification in the Balkans, Caucasus, Caspian Sea and South East Med in the near future is named Southern Gas Corridor. Guess most of you have heard about the rival pipelines called South Stream and Nabucco, these 2 conflicting pipelines are the key of the story in the Balkans and Caucasus, 2 key countries that could be considered 'the last straw' in this game are Bulgaria and Georgia, West can't afford to lose Georgia and Russia can't afford to lose Bulgaria for their plans, here is a map with the potential future pipelines crossing the Balkans. Except South Stream that will deliver Russian natgas and construction has already began, all other potential pipelines are competing to deliver natgas from the Azerbaijani Shah Deniz gas field in Caspian Sea, the final route decision by the Shah Deniz consortium is expected by 30 June 2013, the pipeline is expected to be operational by 2017. The Shah Deniz field is operated by BP which has a share of 25.5%. Other partners include Norwegian Statoil, Azerbaijani SOCAR, French Total, LukAgip, a joint company of Italian Eni and Russian LUKoil, Iranian NIOC and Turkish TPAO. According to analysts competition between consortiums the next 15 weeks or so will be frantic.

pipelinemess

SOUTH STREAM: It's the Russian pipeline project of the region also known as the 'Orthodox pipeline', it bypasses Ukraine for obvious recent reasons, but crosses through the Turkish Black Sea EEZ, construction started in December 2012, with a first commercial deliveries in late 2015, partners besides Gazprom with 50% are also the Italian ENI, French DEF and the German Wintershall. Off course the project is heavily supported by Russian leadership.
NABUCCO: This route has been modified and the new route is called Nabucco West and will combine with TANAP in Turkish territory.
TANAP: It has replaced the old Nabucco route crossing Turkey, consortium comprised of the Azerbaijani Socar and Turkish firms Botas and TPAO, with BP and Total interested to buy a stake.
NABUCCO WEST: A shorter version of the original project and South Stream's conflicting rival because if constructed it will cross through the Balkans in a very similar route with South Stream. Consortium comprised of Austrian OMV, Hungarian MOL, Romanian Transgaz, Bulgarian Bulgargaz, Turkish Botas and German RWE.
TAP: Is a proposed pipeline that Greece, Italy and Albania have already accepted and signed a memorandum of understanding on the project last month. Shareholders of this joint venture are Swiss Axpo, Norwegian Statoil and German EON.
ITGI: Joint venture between Greek DEPA and Italian Edison, not cancelled yet but faces strong competition and has the least chances of all competing projects.
SEEP: BP project, cancelled.

As we've already seen in this thread, Russia doesn't like these developments that rival her project (South Stream has an updated construction cost estimate of $39 billion) and has warned Turkey over these potential pipeline routes, Russian military even predicted resource wars coming soon. Turkey is depended on Russian natgas up to 80% of the total gas needs.
Gazprom on June 29 sent a warning signal to Turkey over Ankara’s agreement with Azerbaijan to build a gas pipeline to Europe, a rival to the Moscow-backed planned South Stream trunk.

I dunno 100% yet if the protests and recent resignation of Bulgarian govt is behind the scenes related with this geopolitical game and is masked under current social problems, chances are very very high imo and time will tell soon, but i will start with Greece because here we have some evidence of how this halting/push-back of Russian influence usually works in the region. Greece and Russia got close up to 2008 and had plans for energy and further military cooperation, Greek and Russian secret services revealed evidence for a destabilization case with the code-name 'Pythia' that involved the assassination plot of the then PM Karamanlis, some suspicious murder and kidnap cases, a big spying and wiretapping network, big Athens riots of 2008, wildfires, terrorist attacks etc. These events eventually led to the collapse of Karamanlis govt, new PM Papandreou and co, besides that they pushed Greece to IMF/ECB bailouts and foreign supervision with some very shady deals, also completely froze the close Greek-Russian bilateral ties. A probe was launched last year for the Pythia plan and this February Supreme Court prosecutors concluded that there was indeed an organized plan for the destabilization of the country executed by foreign secret services, Wikileaks cables reveal that the West was deeply displeased with Karamanlis govt energy policy and also reveal West's attempts to cancel South Stream pipeline, press described this as an "energy coup". A recent institute report to the U.S. Congress, says that the only country that the halting of Russian energy penetration has succeeded is Greece, off course Russia is pissed with all Greek govt's since 2009 and always reminds them of the deals and promises that have been signed and given.
[link to rt.com]
[link to translate.google.gr]
[link to www.defencegreece.com]

On the pipeline map posted above you can see that South Stream also has a southern corridor crossing Bulgaria-Greece-Italy, this project although not completely dead yet, has been put on hold from Greek-Italian govt's since 2009 and the 2 countries have been pushed to participate in the TAP proposed pipeline along with Albania instead. The thing is that TAP is not a done deal and Shah Deniz Consortium may opt for a different route with heavily promoted Nabucco West being the most possible selected outcome. Greece is 80% dependent on Russian natgas. A key company for the Southern Gas Corridor is Greece's public natgas company DEPA and subsidiary DESFA that is up for privatization, 80% of the natgas that DEPA sells and distributes comes from Russia. Russians are offering at least double the money for DEPA compared to western offers, money enough to cover 1/3 of Greece's privatization target and the promise further future investments and seem to have connected the future of South Stream in Greece with DEPA, they seem to want this really bad, because this is the last chance for Russia to have any say in Greek energy sector/matters, with Syria in war and Cyprus almost under troika supervision Russia is losing her influence in the Med Sea. Greece is currently under immense pressure to not sell this company to Russia.

Almost all Balkan countries are facing financial problems, tensions and rise of nationalism... again. Lots of interesting things are happening in Bulgaria lately, biggest news is the resignation of the current govt, other interesting news are the resigned PM blaming an assassination plot on the Turkish dude who staged his own assassination attempt, a recent discovery of natgas that is more than half of the country's already known reserves, Bulgarian govt offering to US a military bases. It should be noted that Bulgaria is 96% dependent on Russian natgas and 70% of her total energy needs.

Bulgaria just officially abandoned 2 big energy projects with Russia in February. In a big energy project cancellation, Bulgarian parliament confirmed this week, the decision of PM Borisov to completely abandon the Belene nuclear plant project, they've already spent 1$ billion on it and it's a project of 6 to 10 billion depending who you ask and has been frozen since fall 2009, this was a big project for the country considering Bulgaria's gdp. Rosatom has already filed a suit with an international arbitration court in Paris in March 2012 claiming 1.5BN.

A proposed pipeline project not shown on the map above and is also related with Bulgaria-Greece, is the Burgas–Alexandroupoli oil pipeline project.
[link to pnyka21os.files.wordpress.com]
It was seen as an alternative route for Russian oil, bypassing the Bosporus and the Dardanelles, it's an old project since the memorandum of cooperation between Greece and Russia has been signed in 1994 and Bulgaria joined in 2007. In December 2011 however, Bulgaria proposed that the three partners abandon the Burgas-Alexandroupolis project by mutual consent, due to environmental and supply concerns. Otherwise, Bulgaria said it would back out unilaterally in 12 months. Russia and oil company Transneft never gave up on this pipeline project although is being postponed indefinitely and recently asked EU's view about it. Just this month though, Bulgarian govt denounced the agreement. Needless to say that Russia and Transneft don't really appreciate these developments and the Bulgarian stance on the matter, spokesperson for Russian oil giant Transneft, has claimed that a decision of the Bulgarian Parliament on a possible withdrawal of the country from the Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline would be absolutely illegitimate. Greece is also still in favor of the project.

Bulgaria is ( or maybe was?) hoping to host both the South Stream and Nabucco West in an attempt to increase her geopolitical value and create jobs, resigned PM Borisov stated that construction of Nabucco will be launched in mid-2013, Russian ambassador to Bulgaria said that construction of Bulgaria’s South Stream section will also start in July. Bulgaria's choice to host both of the pipelines has been criticized by some and here's the thing, South Stream hasn't been ratified by Bulgarian parliament yet, without Bulgaria's participation the project is as good as dead. Matthew Bryza is a big and influential fish in this game, he is the head of the International Centre for Defence Studies (ICDS) and former U.S. ambassador in Azerbaijan, as we've already seen he also had a massive role in the 'energy coup' in Greece as the then US Secretary of Energy, in an energy forum hosted in Athens the previous week besides that he spoke in favor of transporting Cypriot and Israeli natgas through Turkey, he also said that he believes that Azerbaijan and EU are in favor of Nabucco because it offers access to more countries and is commercially superior to South Stream, his 'advice' to Bulgaria is to take the Southern Gas Corridor. He also said that Bulgaria is an example of the instability that energy monopolies like Gazprom can bring. Bulgaria will hold early elections on May 12.

Exactly one week after the resignation of Bulgarian govt, another country's govt that participates in the South Stream collapsed, it's Slovenia who is also about to get the EU/IMF treatment soon. The only country that South Stream is progressing and is regarded as a project of strategic and national importance is Serbia who currently has to make a choice between EU accession/IMF reforms and Russia. Hungary is also a country that plans to host both of the rival pipelines and although Hungary's energy security and diversification is being discussed i haven't noticed anything suspicious there yet. South Stream is considered by the West as a Russian punishment to Ukraine, Russia decided to bypass Ukraine after the January 2009 gas dispute between them that left Europe without gas for 13 days. Ukraine is also about to go through energy reforms and feels that her energy and national security/interests are threatened by South Stream, in 2012 the volume of transportation of gas through Ukraine to Europe decreased by 19%, the throughput capacity of Ukraine's gas transportation system is currently working at half of it's capacity/potential. Ukraine has showed interest in joining TANAP.

Tensions created by this energy/pipeline diplomacy lead directly to the source in Azerbaijan/Caucasus, where already Russia, US-Israel, China, Iran and Turkey are fighting for influence, some even on sectarian terms. If anyone expects some kind of Russian response, it will most likely come in this region, fighting against Islamic militants in the North Caucasus is already very common, Azerbaijan is buying lots of weapons and although Shia relations with Iran are not good. Iran said in the past that Nabucco without Iran's participation would amount to nothing but a pipeline void of gas, but EU is not fond of energy from Iran despite Iranian state oil company having a 10% stake on Shah Deniz gas field. Azerbaijan-Armenia had countless of ceasefire violations since the start of the year, things got cool a bit for Armenian elections, but ceasefire was broken again this week. Needles to say that if Georgia goes under Russian influence, Nabucco and chances of transiting Caspian resources to Europe without Russian interference are pretty much gone and they've already intervened there once in 2008. All countries of the region have their own disputes over energy-rich Caspian Sea, energy resources that are mostly unexploited yet. Russia plans to establish the Eurasian Union by 2015, a political and economic union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the agreement was signed in 2011. Hillary Clinton characterized the Union as a plan to "re-Sovietize" Russia and Central Asia, and claimed that it was in the interests of the United States to oppose the integration effort on human rights concerns. In a move that didn't get much attention in the media this January, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia have formed the Armed Forces of Turkic States with a horse as their symbol. The process of preparing a document on establishing a Turkic-speaking countries free trade zone also started the same month.

Mediterranean Sea and thus MENA, is also important part of EU's plans and just like Caspian Sea, the status and maritime borders in the Med Sea are not yet defined and disputes between countries are coming to the forefront. Almost every Mediterranean country not already in war is on course of market/energy reforms, economy liberalization and mass privatizations, when opposing interests can't find a compromising solution between them, they try by force. Under this perspective a pipeline project that is already causing a bloodshed is the the deal that Iran, Iraq and Syria have signed for a pipeline that will transport Iranian natgas to Syria and then Europe and will give Iranian natgas access to the Mediterranean, Lebanon is also interested, this pipeline is also known as the 'Shia pipeline', all other regional players don't want this pipeline ever to be built and oppose it each one for his own personal reasons. Despite the war raging in Syria for almost 2 years now, Iran in January and Iraq in February, gave the green light for the construction of this pipeline, meaning that no side is willing to back down on this and there is really no end in sight in the Syrian crisis imo, Iraq even assisted Syria armed forces with artillery fire after they signed this deal. Spillover of the Syrian crisis into Iraq is inevitable and things in Iraq are already bad with sectarian violence being almost a daily phenomenon, today Iraq announced plans to close it's embassy in Qatar in response to the interference of Qatar in Iraqi internal affairs and encouraging, provoking of protests. Iraqi Kurdistan is very rich in resources and world's biggest oil companies are moving there in mass and signing deals with the Kurds, deals that further distance the Kurds from Bagdad central govt. Kurds transport their oil with trucks and are in desperate need of a pipeline and Turkey is willing to 'help' them with that in a weird alliance formed while at the same time is having peace negotiations with PKK and until very recently fighting against them in Syria. Iran-Iraq and according to statements and press US oppose this alliance and Turkish interference in Iraq, Iran/Iraq also oppose any kind of further Kurdish independence in Iraq. Another controversial for the West gas pipeline project was launched yesterday between Iran and Pakistan, despite repetitive warnings from US of possible sanctions against Pakistan, Iran has also agreed to build a $4 billion oil refinery in Pakistan, US is heavily supporting the Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India (TAPI) pipeline project, besides the drones that are already hitting Pakistan, i expect some kind of response from the West on these developments and the Iran-Pakistan alliance that is currently being formed, Saudi Arabia is also deeply disturbed by these news, Pakistan is already experiencing social, political and sectarian unrest.

excerpts
After that my kids will come unmanageable
since many politicians would have gone through life!

For a while this country will not have captain
and dangerous enemy to come over.

The war in the offing Turks lurking
and looking for one occasion, this wait anymore!

Then will come the Army awhile to govern
will then go quiet and lenders to Greece will leave.

You'll leave the EEC, will you cut the drachma

To remember again Religion and Fatherland
to come to himself in prayer and fasting.

But it will not prevent the terrible enemy
Turks will attack to get your island.

It will not be for long because their fire waiting
from the Russian fleet and their own parties.

Will decimate them will have to go

did that hurt you now will count.
