The move, made in 2009 while the Obama administration implemented its auto bailout plan, appears to have been made solely because those retirees were not members of labor unions.

The internal government emails contradict sworn testimony, in federal court and before Congress, given by several Obama administration figures. They also indicate that the administration misled lawmakers and the courts about the sequence of events surrounding the termination of those non-union pensions, and that administration figures violated federal law.

Delphi, a General Motors company, is one of the world’s largest automotive parts manufacturers. Twenty thousand of its workers lost nearly their entire pensions when the government bailed out GM. At the same time, Delphi employees who were members of the United Auto Workers union saw their pensions topped off and made whole.

Obama administration punishing non0union workers. More for his union supporters! More tax money to buy Obama votes.

Isn't this the very kind of evil Obama has been accusing Romney of doing while at Bain?

Only this time, Obama did it with out tax money and yet favored the union members at the same factory by allowing their pensions to stand.

How can he get away with this?

They drove auto dealers that had been with GM for years and years out of business while awarding new dealerships to immigrants and minorities...

So what's new?!?!?

The level of corruption in this administration is unprecedented and apparently untouchable....

As though the bailout itself was not bad enough, he used taxpayer money to guarantee ONLY the pensions of his union supporters.

Buying more votes with taxpayer money. Makes my blood boil.

Running this through one more time.

Obama's Treasury destroyed the pension plan of 20,000 people! He did this under the cover of bailout of GM and using tax money!

Others who were union at the same factory doing the same jobs had their pensions guaranteed by the Treasury.

This is Obama buying those union votes with tax money pure and simple and even openly.

I'd like a little outrage about this.
