It's called a tropical wave. There is NO WAY they can predict anything from this far away. Yes, it's off the Cape Verde islands. Yes, it's coming this way. Yes, it MAY turn into a tropical depression, which MAY turn into a tropical storm. Yes, it MAY just fizzle out. I am right in the hurricane zone, so I kind of pay attention. I've been in TWENTY THREE hurricanes.

We'll see in the next day or two, it might affect you guys next week. The one off the Cape Verdes is about ten days out anyway.
