but one of them seems to fly straight up the screen, admitedly it could be orbiting and passing toward camera. then another (or same object) is seen flying across left to right and parallel with the horizon. so it would have to be a shot showing BOTH orbiting satelittes passing within seconds of eachother. odds on that seem small?

Umm yeah.. because they weren't colored photos and they color them in. Now there is a camera that captures the color.

A bunch of fools out there take the pictures and change saturation levels and toy with the images trying to claim "ohhhh, here is the original!". Don't fall for it. Some people just need something crazy to believe in.

First off, when they sent it there is was only sent with limited software, and because it takes a long time to get there they need to update it to current date..

that's all and because it is so far away it takes time, they send an update wait for it to get there then they send test to see if it made it then they have to wait for the rover to send back the confirmations.
So in short they have to do this with every single 1..

that's why it takes so long..

Because software is REALLY heavy and they didn't have the lifting capability to do so. So, they had to put a small amount of software in there and send the rest by FedEX, cuz you know..."When it Absolutely, Positively has to be there overnight...except Mars, it takes 4 days".
