I love your attitude, Lisa, I just wish it were realistic. People in general are narrow minded. They see what they see. They learn what they are taught, both in school and on the street. Diversity heightens the tensions between people by bringing disparate ideologies together where they can have an effect on one another. Each feels threatened by the other, and they need a definition for their enemy, hence race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, and even occupation tends to differentiate life ways. Patterns and cycles get disrupted for greed and avarice and power plays. Too many take out their shattered rage on those who don't deserve it, and then there is repercussion, for which there is retaliation, and on it goes.

Idealistically you stand on a belief that cannot stand the rhetoric of real life. I do wish you luck, but don't be surprised at a difference of opinion or two.
