Quoting: taniatarn That definitely makes sense...I wish I had a bit more of a scientific mind to understand whether this bacteria breaching salt domes is a possibility....it definitely does seem so now that they are saying hydrocarbons have breached the bottom of the cavern. It is possibly eating through everything.. IT would also mean that the SPR are worthless...no-one will want oil contaminated with a bacteria that is consuming the very product they are buying!.... It just seems to me to be a way that ties in to a really big picture that would threaten the stability of the USA. And I am also betting that if this is the case...they are going to try and create a false flag as an explanation to sell to the public as to what has happened... OH and found this which sums up the tie to Assumption nicely.. The Bayou Choctaw Strategic Petroleum Reserve is located 12 miles southwest of Baton Rouge in the Atchafalaya Basin (30.316654, -91.307976). It is one of 4 major petrochemical storage sites(the other 3 are in Texas). It holds 73.2 MMB in 6 caverns - 22 MMB sweet and 52 MMB sour. How big would a cavern be that can hold that much oil? So f you look at its location and size underground I wonder how far away it would be in reality? Apparently they are hush hush on it 'exact' location.... ALso, thinking about it of course the Reserves could have been deliberately sabotaged too... "just had an oh great!!!monent related, but not [link to www.chron.com] "Chu said it was better for the government to cash in on the crude rather than risk it seeping out of a salt dome cavern in southeast Louisiana or chance an overflow of oil as it is moved to other brimming storage sites" while researching [link to pbenergy.com] bayou choctaw has 10 wells between 3500 and 7800 ft want to guess where the mississippi water went thru there to corne?" my post related, from pg 75 dr Here is a link to a google satellite image of Bayou Choctaw... [link to imageshack.us] Has a suspicious lovely round looking 'lake' in the top left of the area.... and here is a map showing location of Bayou Choctaw ( labeled A ) and area of sinkhole labelled X [link to imageshack.us] That circular lake looking thing at Bayou Choctaw appears to have been there for quite some time as is in images from early 2000's too....so not show how or when that formed...maybe man made? Vast Plate movement sequence proved between Indonesia, Alaska and Americas Thread: MT St Helens - 40 Mins Ago Small Earthquake Followed by Steaming Around The Rim Just pinned today. hmmm sk Weird...I had just read this article yesterday...hmm. Indian Ocean earthquake may have triggered others around the globe, scientists say "While the April 11 quake was powerful magnitude 8.6 it was more notable for being the strongest observed of its kind, Stein said. The most forceful earthquakes usually happen at the boundaries between tectonic plates, when one of them violently slides under another. But the April 11 quake was produced by rupturing inside a plate, like a stone cracking when compressed. That set seismic waves shooting around the planet multiple times before finally dying away. The whole earth was vibrating like a bell, Stein said. These waves were of a type more likely to destabilize potential earthquake spots than the ones set off by other types of earthquakes, he said. Most of the earthquakes after April 11 were found in the tracks of those waves. Minutes after the quake, it was already clear to geologists that it was extraordinary in many ways. Earthquake researchers around the world raced to best characterize it. What immediately struck us was the unusual location of such a big quake, said Thorne Lay, professor of earth sciences at the University of California at Santa Cruz, a co-author of one of three articles in Nature about the quake. Normally, a quake of this type is caused by a rupture along a single line. But this was a messy event, rupturing at several places and in different directions at once, Lay said." It would seem that the earth is being pressurized and is venting gases in a variety of locations.
