The NHC is predicting rainfall totals will span between 7 to 14 inches over much of Louisiana, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama, and the extreme western Florida panhandle. However, totals could reach a maximum of 20 inches in harder hit areas.

The rain fall amounts will create massive flooding.

It is a few hours from high tide. These rain bands are dropping several inches per hour.

A stalled system can dump so much rain, it will be a record breaker for rain fall totals locally.

Wind speed in knots is showing 98 kts just west of the eye.

That translates to 112 mph, a CAT3

But the weather man said it was a Tropical Storm only maybe a CAT 1.

i think they slowed him down to pick up some chemicals from the area, and dump them inland. another reason is that the chemicals help isaac maintain his power even over land

This is a very weird storm it is STALLED(stationary)the size is in fact growing not wind speed..

You overlook the detail that the eye is still over water, fuck stick.....therefore still has the potential to grow.
