Our nearest elementary school became an English as a Second Language (now called English Language Learners) site. It receives special funding because of this. Rather than attending school with primarily kids from this neighborhood, the kids there now share it with a large number of kids who are bused in from inner areas of town. Our neighbor's kids began coming home with lice notices on a near-weekly basis, and there are lots of other new issues that cropped up when this change occurred.

The ESL or ELL kids are not all islamic or muslim, but there are enough that they feel comfortable badmouthing kids who eat pork or ham in the lunchroom.

The whole system caters to these kids due to the funding, and native English speaking families find that they're asked to wait in lines behind the ESL group at conferences, school fairs, etc.

Flyers sent home are printed in a variety of languages, with English printed last, or at the bottom. Many of the ESL families have developed a superior attitude toward the native English speaking parents and kids due to their preferential treatment.

The school did away with programs of extra assistance previously provided to the "usual" students AND dropped their overall standards of performance to enable the ESL students to "succeed."

Many students are moving or transfering to private schools despite living in an area that had a good school when they moved into it. They pay higher property taxes than the kids being bused in. It is their taxes that support the school, yet they are exposed to discrimination and various problems that would not exist to nearly the extent that they do if they'd continued to attend school with their neighbors.

This is in the heart of the Midwest.

THere is enough livingspace for everybody we can turn whole desserts in to a tropical paradise.. So i dont see the problem.

There are radicals in every religion. Everywhere. Even Christians. There are some that take everything they do way to far. I grew up Catholic. My dads Parents, My Grandparents used to watch Religious TV all day long. Pray to everything and beat you if you got caught doing anything wrong that was against GOD. Not behead. Not kill women children. Not marry them off at 10. Not stone them to death. There are victims in every religion because there are those whom do everything to the extreme. My best advice to you is to learn more about what they teach your son. Then sit down with him and tear it down. You can only do this if your smarter or know more about it than your child. Simply saying NO, JUST BECAUSE does not work. Cause I said so does not work. EDUCATION is the BEST WEAPON. Ignorance is not bliss. It only leads to hatred and nobody I think even you wants to teach hatred. Teach the differences and show your children a BETTER WAY. Teach Good Morals. The morals to the stories.

i think you should either teach your children about what you believe and stay on top of it to make sure it is sinking in and being understood...that way it will counteract whatever it is they are trying to force down their throats in school. OR you can homeschool them...i know its easier said than done, but theres not too many options you have to prevent the forcefeeding if you dont. you can always go to the school board and blah blah blah...but if you think there isnt already someone ON the school board who hasnt protested to no avail, youre fooling yourself.

we are not in control of this country or what happens within it anymore...we forfeited that right a long time ago when we became lazy and complacent and left all the decision making up to our government and friends. so now we are stuck dealing with the consequences. they are going to push whatever agendas they have, and they will succeed.

teach your children what you want them to know...stay with it EVERY SINGLE DAY...explain explain explain...and pray constantly. also be vigilant about what you allow them to consume mentally, such as types of music tv shows etc...the outside influences can override your influences if you allow them to. i wish you the best, and if you ever need some encouragement im not going anywhere ;). i dont have kids, but i feel sorry for those that do in these last days we are trying to survive in...i pray for ppl like you everyday and night. take care...

i also wanted to commend you for standing up and being a man when it comes to your responsibility to your children...as well as even being concerned with what they are being taught. you are on the right track, dont let anyone tell you different. you are unemployed and is still being a father you kids need...thats way more than what alot of other fathers can say (including my own, i am 30yrs old, and he still hasnt gotten a clue). fortunately though we dont have much longer to survive the madness thats so prevelant these days...but UNfortunately, its going to get worse, alot worse. you should began preparing yourselves mentally and physically for the hell that is about to break loose not only in this country, but also in the world. yes, OP, its about to go down...and these are the last few moments we have to get ready for it in any way we possibly can. like i said, you are on the right track, keep it up, dont stop, and dont let anyone discourage or deter you...most ppl are mentally fucked as it is...zombies will NEVER have anything reasonable to contribute or say...and the majority of our population is just that...never forget it.
