Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rands published this in 1957 in the United States. Rand's fourth and last novel. It takes place in the United States at an unspecified future time.

I am glad to see this coming out in a movie since my brother talks about it occasionally. He has read it maybe more than once and listened to it on tape at least 3 times. I will possibly get an idea about what in this book fascinates him.
