Learn how to throw knives and anything sharp within reach. Be able to deliver a kill shot within a 10' radius. When there are no bullets to be found and no arrows either, sharp metal is your next best thing.

not being funny dude but the military totally teach against the use of throwing knifes you miss or even dont kill them you have basically gave the opponent a weapon to kill you with .. not a good idea

I have my hunting kit, it's insufficient but all the prep in the world won't save you if your number is punched.

Tarps,ropes,pulleys,shovels,hatchet,axe,more ropes,pots,pans,utensils. Ive lived in the woods for a couple weeks at a time hunting elk, but indefinitely is another story. Probably be grunting and banging rocks together before too long....

I used to think that way also, till you get deadly accurate. People are a different story. No, don't throw your ONLY weapon and arm them. Not unless you have more to throw and are throwing them! Keeping distance to me is more important than engaging at close quarters. Animals for hunting is a different story. Anything within 10' of me is getting killed, period.

When the fight or flight kicks in, most people can't even shoot a gun and hit their target. Throwing something is a natural reflex. Been doing it for 100k years...seemed to work for us so far!

So Since you know you need to provide for your safety and instead expect God to do it for you, that is tempting God.

God wants us to put our faith and trust in him alone and if you do not, it just means that you do not believe that he will provide for us through Jacob's troubles as he said he will.
