Dog acting weird...anyone else?

Wasnt there a faint earthquake in florida a couple weeks ago? Somewhere in NW florida? I vaguely rrcall a thread on here.

You know i just realized something, not sure if its related or not. I work on an island. We had TONS of dead fish wash up on the beach about a week ago. Pre-emptive sign of something going?

Im also in the area where twmety something whales beached themselves.

My wife is acting very weird this morning. Looks like I'm in for some personal doom today.

yeah, they called it NW FL. but when I looked at it on a map it looked like it may have been technically in Alabama. There were two.

My two chihuahuas are acting weird but only at night.

Usually they sleep under the covers, just burrow in, curl up, fall asleep.

But the last two nights, it's been in, out, in, curl, uncurl, groom, out, back in .... I can hardly sleep!

I have a Westie and a Scottie, most of the time they just hang on the coach and sleep, but last night form about 7 to around 10 my Westie just kept barking and looking out front, it was a soft bark every min or so, like she heard something in the distance. Very unusual for my Westie. Long Island NY

Actually I felt that in 2001 too. I think there was more precursor information than we sometimes realize. Go to

I sorta feel it now but not as much as then. I think the feeling now is mostly just the amount of time that has passed and a growing sense that something is overdue.

Interesting you guys mention the dead fish and whales.

On the other thread, people are talking about the earth's eco system dying, because of the massive radiation leaking into the ocean from Japan, and the massive amounts of oil and poisons dumping into the Gulf over the past 2 years.

They suggested that the bad smell people are reporting is that the oceans are becoming chemicalized, I forgot the exact words they used, but it didn't sound very good. As if the oxygen levels of the oceans were being destroyed.

That would explain all the dead fish and bad smell, at least.

Strange stuff going down here in Southern California.

My dogs started to act worried, barking and whining inside the house for no reason at all. It's not like them, especially my eldest dog who's usually very, very composed.

Neighbor's dogs starting to whimper and whine, too. I can hear them. Went outside with flashlight to check them out ... thought that maybe a possible burglar was nosing around. Nothing. Kinda weird ... my neighbor's dogs are large, and usually aggressive and not afraid of anything. It's really unsettling to hear them whining, too, for no apparent reason at all.

I'm in Pasadena, west of the Salton Sea area, where people in a vicinity covering hundreds of square miles have complained of very intense, sulfurous odors, the past few days.

Earthquake maps show earthquake swarms occurring in the middle of the Salton Sea. NEVER seen a swarm in the middle of the damned lake before.

Authorities say the stench is because of dead fish. Total B.S. There aren't enough fish in the Salton Sea in the first place to die and cause a smell that'll cover hundreds of square miles, even reaching up to San Gabriel Valley here in L.A. Not even close.

SOMETHING is going ON. It's getting CLOSER. I can feel it.

No seriously! I guess I should be panicked but we live in a mid-century modern crackerbox with lots of doors. You're never more than 10' from a door in this place. When the shaking starts we'll be up and out in no time flat. Dogs are always near us. Cats? That might be dicey but we'll do our best to grab 'em.

I have a dog, and fish. My fish are all in freshwater, but I do have a plecostamus, and 3 tiger barb in the tank with the goldfish.
I have noticed changes in my fish. They are all at least 6 yrs old, except the tiger barbs. They are about 5 now. I don't make changes to their tank except for cleaning the filters and adding freshwater, and food.
My goldfish have been bucking in the water. They go to the surface of the water, and literally almost 1/2 way out of the water, stand up, and rock real hard back and forth like they are trying to flip themselves out of the tank or something. This is new, and not something I've ever noticed them doing.
My husband has been expecting a couple different goldfish to die because we keep finding them laying on the floor of the tank. They are still, and they stay there for a long time. They will swim back to the top, stick their faces out of the water, get air, and let it all go on the quick descent to the floor corner again.
But, this has gone on for over a couple weeks now, and they are acting normal on one day, and doing that weirdness the next.
And finally, I have one white fantail goldfish that hangs right in the middle of the tank, and just waves itself slightly, suspended almost to the bottom, but not touching.
Doesn't move...just waves there, suspended in one spot. I don't mean as you would normally see a fish...horizontally in the water.
I mean this fish stands vertical, and waves back and forth ever so slightly, without going anywhere else in the tank for periods of time.
I have had these fish since they were itty bitty, and they are HUGE now, and all healthy. They are not young, but this is abnormal behavior for them.

My dog is a cocker spaniel, and about 5. He's been anxious lately, but we are in NW Oklahoma, so to me it doesn't seem he should be feeling anything earthquake related, even though we have small ones south of us about 75 miles.

Personally, I have been very sick at my stomach. I know it is earthquake related because I check the latest earthquakes when I start feeling it, and it is always a 5+ on the west coast of US, or Mexico. It has only been recently I've been experiencing this though. I never actually vomit, but I'm so close that I start salivating. I mean, really sick at my stomach.

So both humans and pets are having stomach troubles.

I would suggest it must be related to some chemical sources, i.e. the toxic poison and radiation buildups in the oceans and in the Gulf, or perhaps the Illuminati finally released a new virus which is going to fulfill their long dreamed of plan to kill off the "useless eaters", that is 90 percent of the human race.

I do agree in one sense, 90 percent of people on this planet ARE useless and totally ignorant and asleep, ESPECIALLY AMERICANS.

Americans are the most dumbed down, ignorant, brainwashed fools on the planet. If 90 percent of them were killed off, I would be HAPPY.

I just hope the 10 percent of good ones survive, the ones like on this board, who ARE aware, who are NOT brainwashed, and who are free thinkers.

My dog is a real "people" dog, always in the room with us, wherever we are. (NE Ohio) He isn't acting more strange than normal, but this thread has me spooked. I do believe the dogs are protecting their families, and can sense things on a different time wave.

Dogs can be trained to warn their owners of seizures, before they happen. They have been filmed getting excited when their owners are on their way home--before they arrive. They can smell cancer growing.

What ever is going on, it doesn't sound like a "good" thing, I hope it is just that they are sensing things they can't understand, like the energy from the sun changing, or bled though from another dimension.

The fact that this is global is fascinating and frightening.

Everyone should keep bumping this thread, and continue their reports to see where this leads till the end of the month.

I have a feeling the "Florida & California" reports, are real let's get out of Dodge reports.

I live in central Florida have 4 dogs, 2 dachshunds, 1 American cocker and 1 English cocker and no out of the ordinary behavior here. OP are you nervous or stressed out? The animals can pick up on our behaviors and in turn cause them to freak out. I always keep Rescue Remedy on hand during the summer for some of the dogs that are bothered by storms. Maybe look into getting some of that for the dog. They also make some for the humans. Good stuff has gotten me through some tough times naturally.

Yes here in NW Arkansas we're getting used to the small tremors. They are going on all the time, and they ARE NOT reported.

And the feeling of impending doom id growing.
Not to the point where I burst into tears all the time ( I did this for a week before 9-11) My first experience with feeling the universal conscience mourning.

My dogs are also being VERY clingly. Ones a chocolate also.

There is no doubt in my mind that dogs pickup on the emotions of their owners. I have noticed this in all the dogs I have ever owned. The energy is especially intense now for all of us, including our dogs. I don't know anyone who is not experiencing some type of emotional distress.

I have been feeling great sadness in my solar plexus. I mean it is intense and localized to that specific area and on some days is immobilizing and it is interspersed with fairly pleasant days. My dog is depressed to and frightened.

Well, you know what they say in India "it will all be OK in the end and if it is not OK it is not the end yet". lol

No, Not at all. No more then usual anyway. In fact things are going fairly well. My daughter has the flu this week, but other then that lifes been pretty quiet.

Never heard that quote before, actually. But yea, Indians are pretty chilled people. Even if the rest of the world is going to hell, they will still be pretty chilled.

I can't even imagine what you guys in America must be going through, if even I am feeling some of the same things here in India- stomach problems, sleep problems, high level of anxiety for the past 4 days (which is really not normal. Life in India is VERY CHILL).

In Kansas, one of my two Australian Shepherds, the older one has spent the last two nights outside. She refuses to come in, in 5 plus years she has never done that. The more aggressive hunter of the two a male stays inside, so I do not think the other one is waiting on something to kill. Very weird....
