aircraft fuselage and wings as well are made from aluminum and magnesium alloy, both metals burn if sufficient amount of oxygen and high temperature is provided. Perhaps that is the proper reason that indices of thermite usage were found at the place. (thermite is a mixture of aluminum powder and a donor of oxygen, you can use even e.g. Fe2O3 - iron rust).

911 Was an Inside Job -- 11 years ago today to almost the minute for Plane 2

Larry Silverstein, may you rot in your own self-made hell.

Dick Cheney, Lawrence Eisenberg, Christy Todd Whitman, George Bush, Marvin Bush, George Herbert Walker Bush, Peter G. Peterson -- YOU ARE THE PERPS OF 911 and your minions.

You murdered 3000 people.

We know it.

God knows it.

We like to have fun being sarcastic.

I'm pretty sure that the only other plausible explanation would be water electrolysis from blown transformers and broken water pipes. Hydrogen burns at 10,000 degrees. Well within the range of melting steel. But there is no way our government is going to openly teach water electrolysis either.

With the proper amount of atomization with oxygen, jet fuel can easily burn hot enough to melt steel and destroy concrete...

Why do welders spend big bucks for exotic gasses when cheap fuel oil will do the same job?

Come on guys(and girls) the jet fuel didn't melt the steel it just warmed it up to a temperature at which the steel had lost most of its strength.

Think about butter, before it melts it becomes softer.

Incidentally it is quite interesting that the gasses in the combustion chamber of a modern jet engine are hot enough to melt the material the combustion chamber is made of.

To deal with this the chamber is cunningly designed through the use of advanced fluid dynamics to have a layer of colder air flowing around the side of the combustion region with the hot burning gasses within. The colder gas acts as an insulator and prevents the engine melting itself
