If this really escalates... how long will it be before all those factories are back over here in the U.S.?

LOL I think that would be hilarious if they were forced out of there and had to move back over here. Where else can they go at this point in time where they will be pretty much guaranteed they can do business without interruption?

If China goes after Taiwan in a serious manner, then all bets are off, because the U.S. has pledged to defend them. And the Chinese have been making noise about Taiwan for a long time.

I would like to see some corporations having to turn tail and run back "home" after they screwed us over the way they have, along with our government helping them the whole time.

Who among us anticipated that the number of embassies/consulates and ambassadors attacked or killed could EVER be this many in just a span of ONE WEEK?

I think the U.S. (and its allies like Japan) could be in deep kimchi.

So if this is where sent practically all of our manufacturing jobs, and their infrastructure collapses, or the major conflict erupts, who will be in charge of maintaining the upkeep in the global market? And exporting goods would possibly come to a halt, since you would be shipping the products and goods...but obviously not anywhere near the ports or where the conflict is, that would be too great a liability for any company to undertake. Everything moving would be an easy target. So....this makes me wonder if and when this event or series of events causes a collapse on our end.

Well at least the Chinese are allowed to protest now, especially after the June Fourth 'Incident', so let them have a little fun. Maybe some hippy Chinese Dudes will make their own Banners instead of using the military issued ones with like 'human wights now-ah!' of maybe, 'fleedom of spleech Please mr Hu---'. Man that would make for amazing Kung-fu news clips around the world.

The factories that are in China will stay in China, which will be annex Formosa. Much of Japan's equipment will be divided up between PRC and People's Republic of Glorius Reunified Korea (PRGRK), aka "Ultimate Korea".
