Just realized, we are in the final quarter of 2012 - will the hype be a FLOP, or is "it" on the way?

All last year, we heard so much about the sun, the Nibiru/Planet X, Comet Elenin, the Mayan Calendar, the 2012 movie, so many predictions and fables and fearful things - 2012 was supposed to be "epic", and now, we are only 90 days away from the "big" Dec 21, 2012. I personally was not terribly worried about the big bang or world devastation, but I see plenty to worry about on a more earth-bound level, and that is enough to keep the doomtards busy, no matter what happens in the skies.

Cannot help but think back to late 1999, when the big Y2K was all the rage among the fear mongers, everyone was so tense wondering if it would all crash and fall apart - but it came and went without a hitch. But for me, it was a year of serious doom in another way, with my health.

So, 2012 - what will your surprise be? The possibilities are endless, but so far, just a big dud when it comes to the apocalyptic scale, IMO (thank God!).

It came and went without a hitch? With the massive precautions that were taken to prevent y2k it would have been everything we feared. People prepared and were able to survive it because of that, had everyone just sat by and twiddled there thumbs crap would have gotten rather bad.
