Aum--ever chanted it while looking into a dimly lit mirror?

Little did I know this is very similar to what John Dee (the original 007) used to do, only he used a reflective black stone or crystal...

I used to chant and there was a glass in front of me and I would sort of relax and chant for many minutes...

many times I would see my face distort into a demonic face and I thought it was just my eyes playing tricks on me... maybe, maybe not...
