Something is causing the gas pressure to go up. Quoting: Observer114 Is all material stored in the salt dome stored under pressure? Most of what's stored is butane and propane, stored under pressure as liquids. Billions of cubic feet. An apparent increase in pressure could be caused by heating the system or decreasing the volume of the storage domes. rhombus will set you free... — some try to tell me thoughts they cannot defend. just what you want to be, you will be in the end! — if you can't face the truth it's probably raping you from behind. |

It's a pain for the locals, I'm sure, but it is a local problem just the same. Sure a very large area could and seems to be collapsing into the abyss of this salt dome, BUT IT'S NOT GOING to split the country in half for Christ's sakes. It will get only as big as the circumstance of the dome, worst case scenario. It's a confined space; therefore, it will likely not reach the proper ignition rich mixture EXCEPT at certain flair points, worst case scenario, if at all. But rather to relieve geological pressure in the GOM and on the NEW MADRID FAULT LINE, as there is no doubt in my mind that it was an intentional "comedy of errors" that occurred. Quoting: grefey In addition, if you watch the documentary "Gasland" you will notice that all the fracking that is being done is in areas of high geological stress or instability. Thousands of wells have been sunk around Yellowstone and smaller amounts in AK. I do not think this is a coincidence. It looks like they are trying to relieve stresses in the earth through mechanical means. I am no geologist but it makes sense to me. So the question is how much longer can they kept the lid on, so to speak? I agree with you completely, although most here won't. They want their doom to be caused by another human pulling the strings and holding lives in their hands. No one ever wants to believe that some (not all) of these actions could be about trying to relieve these issues. Same with HAARP. Saturday was supposed to be clear and sunny in my area. I planned an all day outing. We had big solar energy incoming and in a blink of an eye the clouds were so thick you couldn't see the sun. HAARP? Probably but I don't think they were trying to hurt me. I think they were trying to protect us from the solar radiation that is somewhat aleviated with clouds/rain. |

I'm not saying it's not dangerous, but, man, so many things would have to come together! And that right there is the worst part about GLP to the uninitiated. People out there, possibly living in the affected area, might be stumbling upon threads like this while simply scouring google for SOMETHING of an answer as to what is going on only to get the fuck scared out of em after coming here. Real-world scenarios that aren't laden with bullshit, such as yours, are I think VERY helpful to the nail biter pissing themselves over the situation at hand. So true, the ignorant hysterics here are almost enough to make one lose faith in humanity. as i said pages ago.... there is not a gas company in the world that will joke about a possible GAS leak....think AC's before you type.... this would be the same gas that is coming out of your stove or gas oven.... does it not bust into flames EVERY TIME a spark happens....mine does. it does every freaking time i turn it on....every time...not just some or maybe once a week....BUT EVERY FREAKING TIME! and here again watch this video. this happen when the gas company failed to fix a leaky gas line in a house! [link to www.youtube.com] We had purchased a home 10-ish years ago. House (at that time) was about 25 years old. Wasn't a dump, but it did need some upgrades/repairs done, and we had started doing those based on what we thought were the priorities. Safety first, then the cosmetics. There was one night, maybe 6 months after we moved in, hubby had gone down to the basement for something, came right back up, and asked me to come check cuz he thought he smelled 'something' (I've got a nose like a blood-hound....a bit bizarre compared to average noses) Typical lay-out, basement accessed at the far end of the kitchen I hadn't even made it half-way across the kitchen which is maybe 30ftX15ft....not even close to the basement stairwell....and I smelled the gas. I began screaming at the kids to get out of the house...they took the dogs with them. While hubby and I were opening doors and windows while simultaneously calling 911. Within 2-3 mins, we had 2 firetrucks here, EMS, and moments after THEY arrived, they had dispatched Columbia Gas as well. There had been a couple of pin-sized holes in the gaslines in our basement, as well as a few more in the underground pipes that connected the gas from the street to the home. Gas was shut off, crisis averted. Repairs were made over the next couple of days (over 5K) and once the inspectors from the gas company came out and checked that everything was 'good'....gas service was restored From the time hubby had smelled 'something' to the point of having gas restored to home, was less than 72hrs The severity of an emergency can often be gauged by the actions of the first-responders. The unnerving part of this, is they don't yet seem to know WHERE the gas is coming from. Or they are not saying. In either case it makes things unpredictable. |

psyoptics User ID: 11919225 United States 10/01/2012 05:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was very connected to the BP rupture working on reach for a live show called Wounded Splendor which did it's premier in DC back in 2011. at the last minute the producer after hearing so much about the trouble in the GOM decided to include it in the show. I was working on the video and put in charge of research on the whole issue. everything in the show needed to be vetted fully and background research double check if it were to be added. now in my research i was in contact with many of the actual scientists working on all the different issues at hand then. i had many talks on the phone with Matt Simmons and have many e-mails from him. everything he said to me back then is coming true now. he talked about inter-connected oil rivers and many reserves some located far inland were involved. he also went into how all the methane-hydrate that was dissociating would be traveling through cracks in the earth starting under the GOM and moving far north of the coastline. as the methane is released from the hydrate crystals the gas under pressure would expand 7 to 10 times and this action can happen at super sonic speeds. as this event happens it would create heat only to continue as a chain reaction. everything from the sink hole to the hydrocarbons and methane gas was predicted by Mr. Simmons in the days just before his questionable death...EVERYTHING. a quote from the last e-mail i received.... "....it is not a matter of if but when." So here are my 2 questions now.... what is going on under the GOM now...what does the ruptured area by the BP well look like today? and are these hydrocarbons being found match the hydrocarbons from the BP well? Move on. so the empty cavern is bubbling up non-gas? if they did empty all the gas it would have made national news with the amount of trucks going in and out of the small area....thousands of them. 1.5 million barrels of liquid butane in just that one storage cavern. it would take 8,334 trucks to remove the 1.5 mil. barrel....or 75,000,000 gallons. the large transport truck carry only 9,000 gal. each [link to www.wisegeek.com] he size of a tank truck can vary greatly, but they tend to be large and many are classified as semi-trailer trucks. The largest tank trucks, usually reserved for long hauls, that transport materials long distances can carry up to 34,000 liters (almost 9,000 gallons). Smaller versions, often used for in-town transport, may haul 11,000 liters (about 2,900 gallons) or less. so my friend did you see about 9 thousand tanker trucks dive by last week?
