i think there isnt enough information to get the real story of his life.

I am still on the fence but leaning in his direction as well it makes sense as we live in upside-down world.
I say lean as in I would favour him to be the good one rebelling against the old rathful god...

Lucifer is the bearer of light. Light is a metaphor for knowledge. Superstitious religions do not like enlightened people, because they do not swallow the swill. They like to keep people in the darkness of ignorance. So it is natural that they would attempt to demean and idea like Lucifer.
