Yeah, noticed that myself a lil bit ago...

Well I guess two 5.5's are better then a 9.something...unless you know these are just fore-shocks.

This is crazy. Quite a few in this area suddenly. If a big one suddenly happens, like 8.5, I wonder what the tsunami risk is.

Strange thing is, the Mid Atlantic Ridge always pops big EQs off every so often followed by a few small aftershocks...

I have never seen a biggish 5.5 hit, then a small aftershock of 4.8, then another biggie of 5.5 hit like this..Usually aftershocks decrease in magnitude...

That last 5.5 got my attention! I'm only 4 miles inland on the East Coast, so I'm a bit concerned. I wonder how much time we would have should a big one go off...

Though the USGS and the EMSC disagree a decent bit on the depth of a couple of those, and the USGS doesn't even list the 3rd one, but its at such a different time it's clearly a separate, individual quake.

OP, if you want more peeps on this thread, change your title to reflect the 3 x 5.5 mag quakes....This could be important..

Never seen more than 2 bunched together in that area...
