Yup. You get the holy spirit when you accept him and get baptised.

Which is not the same thing as the 'Christ consciousness' as taught by new agers.

New agers dont follow Jesus Christ the Lord.

They say they receive visions and messages of him...

They might be. He is calling them to accept him as their Lord and Savior.

True, but they do use the term 'Christ consciousness' a lot, and so deceive many into believing they are in some way 'ascending' or receiving spiritual light, when in fact they have believed the 'strong delusion'.

Yes, I agree. I think he's saying that you will recieve the spirit with out being saved.

Christ consciousness has little to do with the bible... the bible contains a few important gems of the genuine wisdom taught by Jesus... including his advice not to rely upon any "church".

Human religion is open to much abuse as we have seen over the centuries... and the rituals of certain christian based religions are in fact satanic in meaning and successfully cut you off from your divine connection with God/Source/ All That Is.

If you can glean the truth and lies from the bible you are on your way to true enlightenment... not restricted to the permissions and authority of human, fallable priests/vicars bishops/popes etc.and indeed the written word as set down by man and not Jesus or God.
Christ consciousness is goodness, onenesss and spiritual freedom through realization of our origin and true purpose on this God given planet.

christ consciousness is just a level of awareness achievable by all beings of light.. if you get there you will know.. but i didnt know there was a teaching about it cause as far as i know each has their own way of getting there.. and it doesnt end there its only a phase one might go through in there ascension to becoming their true self..

not true! how many people today say they accept christ and baptized and they don't have the holy spirit.

By their fruits you will know..the apostles and disciples believed on messiah but when did they recieve the spirit?

They had to be not just beivers but they had to be sanctified and separated from worldliness.

christ consciousness is no different from what the churches are teaching today..it is all about love and grace and soft talk. There is no hard talk and addressing sins anymore.

Your words seem so plausible. On the surface. I'm sure many will applaud them.

Unfortunately, they also betray the fact that you also are deceived by new age thinking, and hold not to the truth.

The answer is the same as the answer to the question "Is Beer Yummy?".

Let us assume for one second that there is truth behind the "Christ Consciousness" Theory. Does this mean that everyone to use such a term would be correct? OFcourse NOT! So thus it is false regardless of any truth to it.

Not unlike Christianity. There are some in those churches that have the "RIGHT" idea. Most however don't, and this is seen very clearly.

In fact the greatest majority of people that talk about Christ, God or anything Religious are all wrong wrong wrong.

This is because you have to be willing to question if you have something wrong before you can assume you have it right.

Yet the self-serving bias of humanity is to automaticlly assume yourself to be RIGHT. and that's just wrong.
