Honest question. I work hard, sacrifice time away from my family to provide for them and our future. Why am I obligated to pay the way for you?

Because I make too much? Who are you to decide? You made the decision to take the easy path. Live with it. Just sayin.

You complain about giving Joe Schmo $20 per year yet you say nothing about giving the corrupt bankers $20,000 per year

More importantly, do you think when you're breathing your last breath on your deathbed...will you wish you would have worked MORE hours to make someone else wealthier?

Will you wish you would have sacrificed MORE time away from your family, hobbies, ....life...to make another person wealthier?

I simply have not been able to comprehend 'cogs' like you and your kind. Born to slave wage...born to be defined by your work...your masters. You take pride in 'hard work'...what is wrong with you? Anyone broken enough to think busting your a** for an entire lifetime is just a needy little affirmation seeking pet of the PTB...

"Sure boss, ...I'll sweat for 60hrs a week. You need another vacation to Costa Rica? Sure, I can make that happen for ya'...You'll like me now, right...RIGHT? "

"Hey family, sorry I'll be an absent, miserable husband/father during the hours I'm actually around...Now wheres that booze and sports?....You respect me, right...RIGHT?"

...uugghh.....
 Quoting: keene 1555858

Some people are willing to work hard so their kids don't have to work so hard. Some people work hard while young and healthy so they can take care of themselves and their families when they are old and frail.

Some people live for today and expect society to support them when they fail to rpovide for themselves.

uuuughhh
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 943001

So their kids wont have to work so hard?

So they can take care of themselves and family when they're old and frail?

Can you give me some GPS coordinates to this magical world you reside on?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1555858

If a man works hard and erans enough to give his kids a good education or maybe start them out in a business, they won't have to work as hard as dad did to get a start in life.

If a man works hard and pts some of his earning aside for old age he will not be elegible for most social programs in his old age.

The question in this thread was "Why am I obligated to pay the way for you?"

All I have gotten is why I am. We are fucked as a country. But it will be fun to see the "takers" go first.

A) The 'system' was not designed to be 'fair' and 'just'

B) We are subject to the rules & regulations of the people in power.

Just as you are the boss of your employees, you are an employee of the country in which you reside. Don't like the rules? Well your boss doesn't care....

Demand lawful money per 12 USC 411 and you will owe no personal income tax. IT is your choice.

France recently enacted a 75% tax on ultra rich folks. It was mostly symbolic because there WERE only a few hundred people affected by the new tax.

Guess what? The ones that are affected are leaving the country as quick as they can. The new tax will produce very little if any revenue.

Hey OP, maybe these dope here think they will be better off when the producers are run out of the USA like they were in France.

You're not paying anybody's way. Hell, you're not even paying your own way. You take far more than give. What pittance you pay in taxes doesn't even begin to cover a fraction of the infrastructure you use: transportation, public safety for starters. So shut up and quit whining. And for once in your miserable life be grateful you were born is a quasi first world country.

Irony

People will pay $600 for an Ipad then demand Apple give a big portion of that to the government to pay for social programs.

But if the price of the Ipad was $100, how many would give the other $500 to charity? Not one! How many would raise hell if their taxes went up $500, EVERY ONE.

Barak Obama is related to the first black slave brough into the US. But the relationship is from his MOTHER'S side.

Just as you did not honestly rebut my assertion that we are all related and turned it into 'tehy are selected', you will not honestly consider anything I say about corporate control of the government.

For instance, if I say there were 10 republican candidates for preidential nominee you would say that was fixed too or they were ALL selected.

If I say we as voters need to elect reps with more integrity, more moral fiber you would say votes don't count, it's all rigged.

If I say there are a few reps who are independant thinkers, who really do want the best for their country and the people you would say I am deluded.

So, that is five minutes I will never get back, totally wasted explaining why you will nevver accept any explaination I offer.

Obama is related to Cheney through Mareen Duvall, a 17th century immigrant from France.

Mareen and Susannah Duvall were Obama's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents and Cheney's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents.

That makes Obama and Cheney ninth cousins once removed.

Cheney and Bush are related to one another by a completely different common ancestor
