British soldiers in Afghanistan get paid £300 a week to be shot at...

thousands have come home as cripples,go and ask them how they feel about ther decision to sign up ???

I can see if it was for a good cause but wtf are we doing over there anyway.

Also, soldiers aren't a solid career anymore. Drones will be taking over the job and you know this is true.

Afterall you require rest, food, and pay.

Drones do all for free 24 hours a day with very little rest, fuel and pay.

If he truly wants to be a warrior, why not be a useful warrior? Instead of going to foreign nations to kill people the thugs in charge tell him to, why not help deposing the thugs, freeing the nation he swore to serve and protect, from enemies foreign and domestic?

The answer of course, is that he's not a true warrior. He's just a scared little bully who wants to kill people without getting in trouble for it.

I'm just about to pass my 12-year mark in the Navy. I had similar ideas, but I think I'm gonna make Chief before applying for Limited Duty Officer. I don't see the economy getting much better any time soon, no matter who wins this next election. What was your reason for getting out?

If you have been to A-NOC and B-NOC go back in and move up until you make TOP ...pay will be more than a butter bar or 1st LT.

More respect too. I've seen a 1st Sgt put a Captain against the wall and chew some ass out.....nothing ever happened.


The higher you rank the less risk you have but the more responsibility you have. If you go back in you better make sure you are unfucked and got your shit wired tight because you will be reponsible for the life's of your men.
