I was about 20 feet away from a lightening strike the other day. I honestly thought it was a bomb, like, a real, live, HE bomb, the noise is intense, the crack is so sharp and so heavy, the only thing I could equate it to is HE.


I remember we had a poplar tree in our front field hit once in a heavy storm. It was a 75 foot or so tree, it was immediately exploded into a 10 foot stump, the scary thing was that it completely shattered the entire tree into splinters, if anyone would have been around it, it would have been 1000 machetes flying through the air.. they stuck in the ground like God was playing Mumbley Peg with trees...



I couldn't imagine living through getting hit by it.

Totally fake. She tried WAY too hard to set that 'random' shot up and looking at the frames it is clear that it is two films blended along the edges of the strike film. Someone put serious time into faking something only mildly impressive in the first place, the 1/2 blended pixels on the seam that are absent in the primary video give it away as a fake.

Put vid at 42 secs then quickly play/pause - you'll see the dog react.
