This is All a Setup!! The "White Horse Prophesy" and Mitt Romney

I dont usually say this but this needs to be super pinned till the election.

I was mormon for 18 years it sickens and scares me that one of them could be president. There is a big difference between there public image and the real church. The temple in Salt Lake City has its own oval office they are totally prepared to take over all functions of goverment.

"We will end with one final eerie note which I cannot prove, but which I will share. When I was a temple Mormon and doing temple work in the Washington DC temple in Silver Springs, Maryland [c. 1983], I had a conversation with a fellow LDS priesthood holder. He was a member of the US Treasury department and a Secret Service agent.

He was obviously very proud of the temple, which was indeed an awesome 20 million dollar structure (in 1970 dollars!) of white, glistening marble. He shared with me that very few knew what was on the fifth floor of the temple. I asked him what was up there, because even worthy temple LDS were not allowed on that floor.

He told me that there was a council room up there which was an exact replica of the Oval Office of the White House. He told me they even had all the radio and telemetry equipment in place, hidden beneath a dome on top of the temple. He said that from this council room, the prophet could run the nation just as easily as he could from the White House itself. He also claimed that these electronic devices on the roof were so strong that airlines had to avoid flying right over the temple or their instruments might be thrown off.

I cannot vouch for the truthfulness of this story. But Mormons normally do not lie, and this man seemed genuinely proud of this achievement – the setting up of a shadow “White House” within the confines of one of Mormonism's holiest sanctuaries.

I share this partly because it illustrates what LDS truly believe to be the destiny of their religion in this land. Just the very fact that this priesthood holder chose to share this story says volumes about the LDS view of their destiny. Whether the story is accurate or not, it shows that this man, who was in charge of protecting our president, believed that Mormons would one day rule the US (and thence the world) from the Washington temple.

Yes I know of this I just had the wrong temple. The family I married into is ofcourse descendants of Joesph Smith which alot of families are regardless I am VERY familiar with this prophecy. When I was little they taught us this in primary.

This snippet also concerned me, especially after doing a little research on Mormonism and their belief that blacks came from Lucifer. More fuel to the fire of racial riots if elected. [link to www.jesus-is-savior.com]

That belief alone might be cause for concern.

Like I always say, LDS is just like the masons and is made of up secret societies within secret societies... The actual power structure is hidden behind smoke and mirrors while the common followers have no idea what is going on.

Yes. Mormonism is basically freemasonry and all the secret society mystery religion with a Christian front. Apostate Christianity.

We'll see what happens. But it's between a supposedly gay muslim or a Mormon playing the part in the secret societies that everyone now knows something about. It's all a sham....

What's strange is that article was written in 2007. Did Romney run in the last election?

Apparently Romney sees himself as the fulfillment of the White Horse Prophesy of St Johns book of Revelation chapter 6.

I too am a former member of the LDS Church, the Mormons. OP is way off base. I too heard about the White Horse Prophecy as I was growing up, but was always taught it was not "gospel" and not Church doctrine. As OP and other former members should remember, the Mormon church has an unpaid and very amatuer clergy. While well meaning, some will go off the reservation and preach unvetted and certainly unratified doctrines that simply are not part of Mormon doctrine. These same folks are usually reminded to stick to the scriptures and lesson manuals. Many current and former LDS Church leaders have written books, but very, very few have been accepted as Church doctrine. While Cleon Skouson is much loved by many far right wing Mormons, he is not embraced by the church as a whole.

Most of my family and friends remain active and devout Mormons. Most of them are supportive of Romney because he is a good decent honorable man who loves the constitution and believes the US can again be the light of the world. I am still in the circle - no one, and I mean no one is talking about the White Horse Prophecy, except for the very few on the fringe, including OP.

Thank you for your post. I am not Mormon nor am I an expert on your doctrine. The articles point as well as Wikipedia say exactly what you just said. There are fringe false prophets even threw out the mainstream church. That we need to find out is what does Romney think he is. There is a white horse prophesy in Rev 6, but that guy represents the antichrist.

What caused his downfall georges was he told the truth about vietnam, he stated after his trip thier " we were brainwashed".. it finished his race for pres.. george was a good guy...

Mormon's may believe some whacky shit, but I never met a mormon I didn't like. The average mormon is way more upstanding than the average non mormon.
